I came to visit my daughter and son in law. This must be what it is like to live in a gated community. Very well maintained and managed. I have camped in provincial parks and some private parks and in 50 years I don't remember any of them looking this neat and organized. Sites are a little small, and I know all their facilities are not yet up and running ( Covid-19), but I cannot get over the neatness of the place.

I'm currently at the park for overnight accommodations as family is staying at a cottage nearby. We booked 3 nights but didn't use the first as a bed opened was available to use at the cottage. Second night we came in around 11pm and left at 7:30am. I couldn't believe how quiet and dark the park was the whole night. The third night, we arrived at midnight and the noise in the morning by staff was upsetting. They say that they enforce quiet time until 8:30am, however before 7:15 you could hear them banging and slamming bins at the bathroom. I get they were emptying garbages and cleaning, but this could be done a little later. At 8:15 you could hear them starting up the grass trimmers and at 8:32 it sounded like they hopped up on riding lawnmowers and went around the park. This stuff typically wouldn't bother me, but with the pool closed, we literally used our 3 night, $300 reservation to be here for 18 hours and I really just wanted to sleep in. An early check out of 10am is tough, but I understand having an early check in time required an early check out. If the pool was open we would've been here more and I probably would've given a 5 star rating assuming the pool was nice, but the morning noise warrants the loss of a start on my opinion. We're likely going to plan the same thing next year since it's incredibly convenient to come and go through the gate at anytime, just hopefully the pool will be open!

If you're prefered full service with functionable drive spaces pullthrou site without flooded risk cement patio and interested watch 21 TV channels & enjoy hear every words from your next site neighbor while campfire circle time, then this is your park ; if you're appreciated woke up with forest setting, double space of camp site lot, walking distance hiking trails near by, river tubing or kayaking in your park, having better privacy, no Caterpillar poo rains with full service site then some of GRCA sites are another choice compared to this Ontario #1 RV park.

Was a bit hesitant when we arrived reading the not so great reviews but when we arrived the staff were super friendly and the campground is very very beautiful with the beach is a shirt 5 minute walk. Not sure why so many comments about noise but our neighbors were up late talking at their firepit and no one seemed to mind. We are also a family with 4 little ones and no one told us to quiet down. We had a great weekend!!

This past week was our second time to Woodlands. This is a great family park! Perfect for any age. My 3.5 year old loves the parks, and the beach is a 10 minute walk. The park is kept up so nicely, and other campers have been so friendly. We have booked for 4 weeks next year.

This is a quality park. Very clean and well maintained. There are sites specifically for trailer and tents alike. That said, it is very money oriented where showers were pay per 5 minute usage. Additionally the rules in the park were very reasonable - with the exception of no noise after 10pm. With family and friends enjoying themselves and children running around a staff member who later identified himself as the owner came over and said to return to the camp site and no noise. It being only 930pm I found it odd that it was quiet time. I understand the need to run a tight ship, I found this a little excessive. Just my experience. It is worth checking out. #localguides
