Woodhaven Renovations

We used Woodhaven renovations to renovate our main floor before we listed our house for sale. They had lots of great ideas to add value to our house and their interior designer was a pleasure to work with. We sold our home for much more than anticipated and paid for the renovation costs as well. Highly recommended!

We would like to thank the team at Woodhaven for an outstanding renovation to our main floor and kitchen. The guys onsite were great, always letting us know when an issue came up. The best part of the whole process was the quality and craftsmanship they put into our new kitchen and bathroom. The cabinetry and tile work was absolutely beautiful!! I hired Woodhaven Renovations to do a barrier free wheelchair accessible bathroom for my master bedroom and couldn't be any happier with their work. From start to finish they couldn't have been more impressive with their constant communication & professionalism. Their glass & tile work was so incredible, especially the beautiful harringbone tiling in the shower. All of the products they used were top of the line in quality. Also Reece and his team worked their butts off to have the project completed way ahead of schedule so it would be ready for me when I was about to get released from a hospital stay. We hired Wayne and his team to complete a very large home renovation project a few years ago. The project went sideways very early on, demolition was done on bathrooms and our kitchen well before the new plumbing fixtures, tiles, cabinets, etc. were available, which meant we had to deal with a messy renovation for much longer than necessary. The project was initially to be done in about 3 months but it took more than double the time and the process was very disorganized and he went through several different trades (tile setters, painters, interior designers, etc. changed a few times) throughout the project. Wayne’s own employees were very helpful but he had trades do a lot of the work. Wayne had committed to a budget up-front and if changes were required he was to obtain our approval in advance, he definitely did not do this, which caused many issues. Overall, the quality of workmanship was good; however, there were many deficiencies. The Woodhaven team did deal with a number of the deficiencies; however, several very important things were never repaired. Wayne promised me repeatedly they would return to fix the problems but he did not keep his word. He even took my only spare bathroom tile to match it up for the repairs and then he refused to return the single tile, very odd. After 2+ years of asking him to honor his commitments, he stopped responding to me all together. The company was a member of the BBB and I filed a complaint however, his responses were weak and did not deal with the significant quality problems we experienced. Woodhaven's BBB accreditation has been suspended, as Woodhaven did not resolve my complaint. I now have to do repairs on their poor workmanship myself and I will have to incur more unplanned costs. Woodhaven also put pictures of our renovation on their website without our permission. Overall a very bad experience that could have been avoided.

I hired Woodhaven Renovations to do a kitchen renovation and bathroom remodel, including a custom wall pantry and desk. From concept to completion, Woodhaven was attentive, communicative and professional. Reece and his team were up front about all costs and any additional work that may be required. The project was completed ahead of schedule and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Woodhaven Renovations.

Reece from Woodhaven was the last of a number of contractors doing estimates on my galley kitchen, and it didn't take long for him to separate himself from the rest. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Reece filled in the blanks and made observations that no one else had mentioned. I decided to go with Woodhaven before the end of the meeting. Later, they came back with a redesign that has made all the difference. Reece was very good about everything we needed to do before the start of the project, and it didn't take very long. His father, Wayne, helped me so much with the appliances. Picking all the finishes, counter tops, floor and everything else was quick and easy without losing any of the quality. Once the work began, I was shocked at how quickly the project progressed. Everyone was very good about communicating schedules of all the different elements, and their staff were a group of hard working, talented men who took pride in the quality of their work. They worked hard to have as little impact on the rest of my home as possible. Once done, it was about half the original time, and the cost was reasonable and affordable for the quality of the product. I hired Woodhaven Renovations to renovate my liquor store in 2019. The team at Woodhaven were very helpful in the design and execution of the project. All the work was done promptly and professionally. Wayne and Reece were able to get all the work done with very little down time for the store and everything looks great. We get compliments on the change in the store all the time.
