Mould on your home’s walls can, if left to its own devices, become a serious problem. Unless it’s been explicitly added to your home insurance policy, however, most basic homeowner policies won’t cover mould damage. That being said, there are many cases where the event that caused the mould in the first place (damage to your plumbing or a flood, for example) will be covered by insurance and mould remediation or abatement may be covered within that context.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A & M abatement had recently did some work removing asbestos from duct work in the furnace room. First of all they had to come out a whole bunch of times. They did not remove the asbestos fully with chunks of asbestos remaining. Dangling from the heat runs. Then to finally remove that last pieces they walked in with no glove, masks, spray bottles , drop sheets. Nothing at all and removed it with his hands. Very unprofessional and unsafe. Would not reccomend for a job that you want done safely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I rating this review on initial sales because we didn't make it to the actual service. I contacted this company for a "standard drywall" demo (500+/- sq/ft), without even seeing the job site I received a quote for $7241.56 for an asbestos job after it was explained in the email "no asbestos". Then after 2 more email I received a additional quote of $2390.40 for a standard drywall removal and clean up. I questioned the cost since I have rented bins for $300 -$500 in the past 6 months which puts the cost of labour at $472.5/hour. (I can do the demo myself in 6 hours so 3 guys...I assume 4 hours) Then they send me an additional quote for $1600 at $275/hour. Just talking with Chris Williams, there seems to be a few 3rd party cost that he will deny later on in the conversation. I assumed the job wasn't profitable for them and this was the reason behind the inflated pricing but I was wrong. The company will charge you from the time they leave their shop until the time they get back. You also get charged for the time it takes them to inspect the tools required todo the job plus, for them to remove all screws from the drywall , bagging of the drywall (that goes in a disposal bin?) and disposal cost on the material. Chris Williams seems to come up with unorthodox costs and he will not answer the questions directly. I read all the reviews and I believe there was only 1 that was honest and the others are possibly relations of friendships.
