This beach is gorgeous. There is two places to walk down. One is a 1 km hike in, or one is a five minute walk. The five minute walk is great for older people or if you have a huge group. If the tide is out, you see big beautiful sand bars that you can set up camp for a couple hours. It’s huge, so you can have a to. Of people there on a busy weekend and not feel too crowded. Also, it doesn’t seem to attract a ton of tourists either. Lots of the people that go there are locals. It’s a must see. Note: the Park doesn’t allow dogs during peak season. I have a 12 year old chocolate lab, and I brought him down. Everything was fine. I’m assuming they just don’t want it turning into a dog park and ruining it for others. Great place!

The walk is about 1km from the parking lot and there are lots of hills to climb in both directions. However, there walk is beautiful as it passes a lagoon and waterfalls. The beach has public washrooms and is great at high and low tide. At lower tides, you can go looking for crabs. It's generally a rocky beach but there are sandy sections as well. Well worth the hike.

I can say enough how much I absolutely love the magic of this place, the waterfall, the forest, the beautiful arbutus trees, the fantastic beach at the end of a 1.3km jaunt through walkways of blackberries & mossy covered trees...again love here & an absolute must for anyone visiting the island! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's a bit of walk to get here, and not accessible for those in wheelchairs or that need special assistance. You pass near a waterfall and the beach itself is really nice, shallow water which is usually warm enough to swim/wade in, has clean compostable washrooms. Has beautiful views and at low tide you can explore a small lagoon.

A great beach to take the family! Make sure to bring some beach foot wear. To make it even more enjoyable get a beach tent for the kids to keep cool, or take a nap ?

After an enjoyable walk through the forested area it opens to a wonderful location of beachfront. Has the ability to make you feel small just looking into the vastness of the ocean. Had a nice rest and a snack before heading back down the trails...

Really nice views. It has beautiful blue water and nice and soft sand. Also many sea shells which my kids love collecting/ looking at. Great nature walk to, family favourite beach/ swimming location. Will return every chance I have.

Stunning! The 1 km trail takes you right to the beach. Highly recommend going there at low tide to see more sand beach. Dogs not allowed on picnic area from June 1 to Sep 15, otherwise let them roam free!
