Alfa Tax Accountants are very professional and very knowledgeable regarding my business. I don't see them as my accountant, they treat me as a friend, and they give me advise regarding my tax matters like you talk to your friend and seeking solution. I'm very happy with the service and recommend them to everyone.

I had our taxes done by Alfa Tax (aka Winnipeg Tax Return Services), and I was very shocked at how fast I received them back completed. Now I know why! I received my CRA assessment and found that there was an error on Alfa Taxes's part, and when I phoned to discuss the manner, the person was very rude and defensive. I was told by the representative that there was 2 ways to deal with the situation "the easy way, or the hard way???" That is no way to speak to a customer specially when the error was done by your company. I tried explaining what the problem was and I was cut off (mid sentence) and told to phone CRA and speak with them regarding the mistake, and that the representative was in no mood and hung up. ALFA Tax your 5 star rating has been tarnished and all you had to do was deal with the problem on a professional manner, instead "YOU" choice the hard way. You might be cheap, but you are not a trustworthy or a professional company. In response to the owners response to my original review. First off my spouse never received any CERB so let's rule out that allegation/ made up nonsense out. 2. I phoned CRA after being hung up on and they identified the problem as being a calculation error on Alfa Taxes's part as well. I was advised to contact the company that completed my taxes and notify them of the error as some companies will take ownership of there mistakes. Unfortunately in this case this company did not and was not willing to address the issue professionally. Guess it's like the saying goes," You get what you pay for" cheap isn't always the way to go. 3. I had also given Alfa Tax permission to acquire any and all missing documents from CRA such as RRSP contributions, paystubs, etc, etc. If your company didn't do their duediligents, then that is on you, not me as I gave your company clear notification and permission to acquire such information. I submitted all documentation I had. DO NOT blame me for your company and employees for not doing their jobs. BEWARE of Alfa Tax (aka Winnipeg Tax Return Services) if you want your taxes done right, cause even when they're wrong they will still deny any wrong doing and try placing the blame on you to make themselves look good.
