★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I just had a very bad experience with Winnipeg Flooring. I previously posted a review about how unprofessional they had been during the initial setup of meeting for estimates. However, after the review has been posted, John reached out and explained how the mixup was caused by a workplace accident. And so, I gave him another chance and we setup another meet. He came this time and did estimates (while continuously reminding me to reconsider taking down my posted review and so I did). He gave us a quote which my wife and I agreed on and he said he will be coming by the end of the week. Come Saturday, without any calls or texts, he did not come so I tried to reach out. He said it will have to be moved to early next week because he had no child care. So, we waited again. Come Wednesday, still without any messages, I tried to reach out again and now, he said that it’ll have to be moved to Friday. Come Friday night, without any calls or messages again, he did not come. So, I sent him a message giving him a last chance to reach out because he doesn’t seem to be interested in the project anymore. And he never responded... ? It’s annoying because we turned down another contractor when we accepted their quote but I guess it’s still a blessing in disguise that this project with them never started. I can only imagine how stressful it would have been dealing with them if it had proceeded ??? And it’s really not about the moving of the dates. It’s the lack of communication or heads up when the dates changed. For each of the instances, I was always the one who reached out...
