★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to start out by saying that new renovations look fantastic. I enjoy shopping at Winners and Homesense, I honestly purchase majority of my household items here. Since 2022, I have spent just under a $1000 (at this location alone).
I purchased two armchairs for $229 each at the beginning of January, they are a great addition to my home. Although while in store purchasing I was given the run-around. Couldn’t locate the items, customer service had said they must’ve sold them- they were in the warehouse. After an HOUR of looking for them they were able to locate the chairs. I want to say this, the customer service I got that day was saddening, I was upset to leave and was not as excited for the chairs as I was initially. Fast forward to this past weekend, I purchased two side tables for my bedroom, again; poor customer service. I had asked for them to be wrapped as the top of the tables are marble, apparently they do not wrap furniture (they did for my chairs?). I live half hour out from Woodstock, when I returned home and ready to unload the tables were cracked and damaged.
Such a shame.. perhaps some better customer service would be helpful at this location. I will go to Brantford from here on out.
