★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is called windy point for a reason lol!!! If you can take pictures while controlling the tears because of wind and ensuring you are able to hold your camera without dropping is an achievement. Wind here can literally make you feel like its pushing you!! Must visit place!!!!! My fav place to visit in Nordegg!! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place continues to surprise me. I thought it was just a lovely spot for a picnic but there is also a bird house which doubles as a memorial and today we discovered that the cliff wall has anchor points at the top that have been secured professionally to enable cliff climbing and rappelling to occur. A short walk away across Highway 11 there is a mountain side walk to the peak which also has a memorial bench located about one third of the way up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely lives up to its name. The wind picks up as you get closer to the water. There are several nice spots to take breathe taking photos. Nice not-so-little spot to stop and stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. It's a little tricky to find the entrance to the parking lot of your are heading east along the Highway so best to use navigation not to miss it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Windy point was great as usual! You get a beautiful view of Abraham Lake! However it wasn't windy. Our Canadian troupes were doing rappelling training on the cliff as well!
