★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short fairly steep hike. 4km to the lake and about 12.5km if you go around the lake and to the ridge. Nice views from the ridge above but not much to see on the way up to the lake. Random campsites are haphazard and some people have damaged trees. From the AB fishing website it looks like lake has not been stocked since 2017.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hike with a beautiful view. It is pretty much straight uphill the whole way, but once you get to the lake itself it levels out. It's crown land so you are able to have a fire and pitch a tent without a permit. Lots of people and their dogs on this trail so we never had to worry too much about bears or anything, but always check before you go and take bear spray just in case. It does get cold at night, so be prepared. My little 10 year old Bichon Shih Tzu loved this hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The peak provides unreal views (360 of Abraham Lake and mountain - including Allstones Lake)! Beautiful scenery and an amazing hidden water source to swim in. I just wish some of the day hikers kept their litter as we found some minor remnants from site to site!
Trail was in great condition as of August long. This hike is RELENTLESS. Be prepared for a grueling uphill battle from the trailhead to the lake. The trail has minimal plateaus and generally climb for roughly 3 various "steep" sections. Definitely worth the workout!

If you are not an active person it going to be difficult hike for you. But it is really worth it!!!!
Make sure you bring your swim suit (shorts) the lake is way warmer then Abraham lake.
if you summit it you'll be rewarded with gorgeous scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well defined and easy to follow trail, mostly pretty steep. The lake area was pretty dirty and smelly. It looks a lot better from the ridge. Beautiful views from the top. Lots of bugs so bring spray.
