Welcome to Southside Childcare - licenced childcare centres in South Edmonton.
Our childcare centres include Windermere Daycare and Windermere Out of School Care. We have successfully run our programs since September 2009. At Southside Childcare, we implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is designed to stimulate the children through creating unique learning experiences, promoting physical literacy, enhancing creative expression while fostering emotional, social needs through positive role modelling, supportive, and sensitive interactions.
All of our staff have degrees or certifications in early childhood education and have cleared a criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector. They are also first aid certified. We only employ competent staff to care for our children.
We have an open-door policy for all parents and guardians. We embrace and encourage parent communication and family participation within our centre's program. You are always invited to share any ideas that you may have to help further enhance your child’s interests, needs and learning. Please remember communication is the secret to success!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this daycare! My son has been attending since the opening of this location about 5 years ago. He has been in each of the different age group rooms and they have always been super friendly and welcoming. My son was a little difficult and rambunctious when he was younger, they were so patient and understanding. I think my favorite part of the program was animal yoga. So cute, he couldn't stop saying namasta.
Honestly I've experienced a few other day homes and daycares for my eldest child and when I compare the quality of care and program I would have to say windermere daycare was far superior to anywhere else I've tried. If I have more children I wouldn't even doubt bringing them back to this facility for care. This is absolutely my favorite daycare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very beautiful and colorful facility. It is located in Windermere plaza, on the ground floor and it caters to kids from 1yrs to 5yrs I guess. The staff are very polite and efficient and proper COVID-19 protocols are duly observed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter attended the before and after school care and she was always happy going there in the mornings and couldn't wait to share the exciting things she did at the daycare. She also never came back home sick for the 2 years she attended the daycare. The staff are friendly and professional. Punnu the owner is amazing ?.

My child always comes home happy and the staff are always engaged with children. The owner is very approachable and is excellent to deal with. Great job !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was given the opportunity to work alongside some great staff, super welcoming, professional and they ensure the upmost safety for the children in care. Very open communication between staff and parents, and the children seem to really enjoying being there. I would feel super comfortable having my son in care here, and would highly recommend working with the wonderful ladies who are a part of this team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both my 2 year old son and my 4.5 year old daughter have been at this daycare since day 1. I love everything about this daycare. The staff have been amazing and the level of care is just superb! My kids are always happy going to daycare and excited to see their teachers and friends. We are always at ease knowing they are in great hands. My daughter will be leaving to KG this fall and she is so sad to leave her second home behind. Highly recommend this facility !
