Willowbend Motel - Maple Creek

Fabulous off the highway place. Super comfortable beds. Staff was lovely. No breakfast included, but coffee and tea available in the morning. Nice and quiet and I was leery being so close to the train tracks, but I don't think they ran through town at night - no one else heard them either. I'd definitely go here again.

I would not recommend staying here if you plan on doing more than just sleeping. Air conditioning unit is located near the ceiling and did not provide much relief from the heat, even after running 9 hours (overnight even) straight on full blast. There is only 1 set of curtains on the windows, which left the room too dark when closed or too hot when you need light. My queen size mattress was clearly well used as I found when trying to sleep in the middle of the bed and only found a lump, but a really comfortable pocket on the left and right of the bed. The box springs were not covered and while they did look new, one of them had an obvious gross looking white stain on it. I had to call maintenance to repair the bathroom door because it would not latch closed. 1 of the 3 lamps did not work. 4 out of 7 hangers were usable. I could not find coffee packs to bring up to my room in the morning nor could I find someone to ask. I was not offered compensation, as payment is due upon arrival. The police department is located directly beside the motel. *We arrived after midnight to our room. After finding the latch did not work on the bathroom door we had to postpone our plans while we waited for maintenance to fix our door in the morning. After 8 hours in a hot room and a now late start to our day, my husband was not going to ask for coffee packets (or useable hangers) for our room, as I no longer wanted to spend a minute longer here.

They offer no breakfast at all, there was no microwaves in the rooms, and the TV's are small, or at least my tv was small, as one of my co-workers had a nice sized tv. Also the walls here was super paper thin and could hear every sound from the rooms beside you

Great value. Close to downtown and facilities. Outdated which is fine because the room and bedding was extremely clean. I found the hotel quiet even though you’re quite close to rail road tracks. Beds were a bit hard for my liking, but I would stay back here if I need to.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the price was reasonable. I would syay hete again.

Bernie is wonderful! My mattress is comfortable and the room is clean, not modern and fancy but homey. The restaurant and bakery across the street are awesome too.

Quint. Clean. Comfortable. Front desk lady is real nice too. And pet friendly. The best inn in maple creek. And it is very safe. Located right next to rcmp station. No one will mess with your car.

Meh, room is alright. Wifi sucks can not connect bc router is off for some reason, was told a lot of people live stream movies during the day, umm ok! Outdated appliances, bathroom door does not shut all the way. Glad we here just for the night. All in all the room was clean, great place if you just want to take a rest for the night but would not recommend staying a couple nights or few nights.
