β β β β β It should not be willband lake but call it hidden lake, the walking trails are afew meters away from the lake. You can stand on your toes and get a glimpse of huge lakes surrounded in the tall bush. City of Abbotsford can really maintain this ,
And if you walk for 2 hours from the carpark then you actually come to the lake . please cut the bushes .

β β β β β It was beautiful and peaceful as it gets.
There was loops for you to walk or jogg and rest bench along the way for an elderly to have some rest before continuing.

β β β β β It's a lovely, easy nature walk around a large pond with plentiful sightings of geese, ducks, the occasional heron, etc. Just be prepared for some flooded pathways on rainy days.

Nice for a walk or a good bike ride around.
It does feel like you arenβt in the middle of a highway or routes because itβs so calm.
Definitely will come back here and there on sunny days βοΈ

β β β β β Our favourite local park. Two large ponds with well kept gravel trails around. Lots of waterfowl and other birds, benches to relax on plus a viewing platform. The swallows were choosing their nesting boxes and jealously guarding them.

β β β β β Nice park for short Hikes , Walking and Running . It's a flat loose Gravel trail , ideal for pets and kids . There is short trail around the lake , you can take longer trail as well. It has enough park benches and a viewing platform.
It has two porta pottys and enough parking. Would be nice if it had more trash cans .

β β β β β Willband Creek park is a beautiful area for a walk/hike depending on how far you go. There is a creek that runs along the trail and a small lake with some islands close to the parking lot, really nice view especially during sunrise or sunset. Good place for jogging, walking, biking, and bring the kids it's mostly flat. Great place for some animal watching, geese, blue herons, bats, I seen evidence beavers living here, recommended for a nice walk out in nature for a couple hours.?
