Terrible company to work with. Drawings are always changing and charging for change orders is like pulling teeth. They nickel and dime over everything and their mistakes will magically become your fault. Will never work with them again.

As a recent purchaser from this builder I was very disappointed. What started as a very positive buying exprience turned into an awful experience. I experience poor communication, poor customer service and poor attention to detail (deficiencies). A staff from the builder had promised to resolve the remaining deficiencies but after over 4 months of delays expained that he would no longer be able to attend to them. If you are considering purchasing from this builder I suggest that you 1) TALK TO SOMEONE WHO HAS PURCHASED FROM THIS BUILDER BEFORE YOU BUY - this may provide a lot of information that you want to factor in any decision to buy; and 2) if you decide to go ahead with your purchase, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING, DOCUMENT EVERY CALL, PROMISE AND UNDERTAKING. Do not assume your deficiencies will be addressed - do not take the word of individual staff.

I purchased a freehold town home in Burlington, Ontario a little over two years ago - the home itself, is approximately 8 years old. Sixteen months ago the home started to show signs of water damage on the exterior of the home. I did manage to get in touch with the customer care representative of Wilkinson Construction Services, who was excellent to deal with as she maintained regular email contact with me for months after my initial in-person contact in July 2015. I've had approximately 20 contractors visit my home in the past 16 months including roofers, caulking professionals, eavestrough specialists, and stucco specialists; and every single one of them have said the quality of workmanship on my home is poor. I've come to learn that the eavestrough system was installed prior to the stucco facade work on the homes being completed. A building practice that is not sequentially sound and deplorable. Additionally, step flashing was ignored on the roof where joints are formed with walls. Approximately 66% of the homes on the street have/are experiencing some type of water damage. Wilkinson Construction Services did offer to connect me with a few sub contractors that they do business with - each of the three suggested contractors flaked on me. Jeff W., the Vice President of the company, needed six weeks to respond to my numerous voicemails left on his cellphone. He chose to respond to me via email instead of engage with me over the phone. Jeff and his company are hiding behind Tarion’s 2-year water damage warranty. My clear suggestion that 66% of the homes on the street are experiencing/have experienced water damage doesn’t constitute a problem with the original build of any homes on the street - in his warped opinion. Thus far integrity and accountability are not traits demonstrated by Wilkinson Construction Services Vice President, Jeff W., and his company. Jeff's email sign off to me: "I will not be engaging in further dialogue”.

Please take the time to read this full review if you are seriously considering this company. I purchased a property in Whitby at their 1010 Dundas street east development. This company has to be the worst construction company on the face of the planet. I have lived here now for a month and have realized that the worksmanship is very unorganized, sloppy, and unprofessional. The staff continuously gives me the run a round as to when things will get done. My basement is still a complete write off with drywall, flooring, painting and cleaning still needed to be done. In the first 2 weeks of living here I had someone ringing my doorbell between 7:30 and 8:30am almost every morning to work. They would come in and do bits and pieces of drywall work as apposed to staying a full day and completing it all. They came in to sand down some walls and took no precaution to protect my property or belongings. The only exception was the 1 time that I happened to be home and requested they put up a tarp. My shoes, my brand new furniture, all the appliances and flooring was covered in dust. We cleaned it all up only for it to happen again on another 2 separate occasions. When we complained to the site office we were told that they would hire a cleaning company to come by the next day. When the door rang the next day it was one of they're workers with a broom and a dust pan. He swept for half an hour then left. We were extremely disappointed and had to clean up their mess ourselves AGAIN. All of the bathrooms have paint and grout on the tiles. There is a nail sticking out the side of my staircase. The finishing and transition strips for the flooring is still incomplete. I have a phone jack installed behind my stove which is carved into my backsplash and unusable. Everything in my garage is covered in dust because we still don't have a garage door and cannot store anything in the basement because it looks like it was hit by a tornado. All of these issues were brought up on day 1 and we are now a month in and the only thing that was addressed is some minor drywall repair. I am a first time home buyer and did not expect this. It has been a complete nightmare dealing with this builder. I have never in my life wrote a review online about anything but I felt like it's my responsibility to warn people about this company. Save yourself the agony and STAY AWAY FROM WILKINSON CONSTRUCTION!!

Funny It appears Wilkinson Construction has pulled up camp or got booted from the 1010 Dundas site Traflagar Green. No wonder been watching the circus for a year. If they are building your new home think again, no management, site super could not build a outhouse, workmanship none, customer service none. They will blame someone else for the issues that they have caused (Beyond our Control standard answer) So here we sit with a subdivision that is 75% done of which they will have to redo 50% of the work that has been done therefore 50% done at best. You will notice they will comment if its postive feed back if its negative they ignore it just like there customers.

Bought a pre-construction unit and we were really impressed with how well managed this project was. The team from Wilkinson Construction kept us up-to-date and took care of any concerns we had, well within a respectable amount of time. Since moving in, we've been nothing but impressed with their build quality and attention to detail, from common spaces to within our unit. Couldn't be happier!

Carolyn Berry I purchased my condo from Wilkinson Construction in March of this year. I am so very satisfied with the service I received in the purchase agreement and then renovations as promised. It is a beautiful condo, very well constructed and very unique in design. The building is also well constructed. I hear very little from other suites and am very happy with that. It is a lovely building with great views and well- designed floors. Thanks so much to John and Jeff of Wilkinson Construction Services. I love my new home!

Wilkinson Construction built our penthouse condominium suite at Hunt Club Terrace. The suite was highly customized and required much attention throughout the design and construction phase to ensure our requirements and finishes were properly coordinated and then implemented on site. The Wilkinson's staff provided friendly service, great attention to detail and determination to get things right. We are very impressed with the quality of the finished product, both inside our suite and with the condominium building as a whole. Wilkinson Construction provided outstanding customer service through the warranty phase. We really enjoyed working with the staff at Wilkinson's in seeing our condo through to completion.
