★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst store. I will never go back. I am celiac and got so sick I had to miss a day of work. When contacted the customer service rep tried to blame my reaction on other shoppers who must have used serving spoons from other items and contaminated the dish I ate that was supposed to be gluten free. Over a week later I was contacted by someone else who apologized and said they would send me a gift certificate since I was never reimbursed for the food that made me sick. They never sent me a thing. Do yourself a favor and go to Choices!

This location is very spacious, with more variety of groceries and produce compared to any other Whole Foods that I've visited. The hot food area has a ton of options, and looked fresh too. It was a pleasant place to visit overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been moving around every couple years and been stuck on Van Island in a small town where we have the basics and not much choices. Coming from a big city prior I've been missing city living so I come to North Van every few months "studying" it, feeling the vibe and trying to see if it will be my Next move. I did a little grocer shopping and WOW I can't believe how clean, organized and fresh food is here. Not to mention all the choices and so many organic items. Great food bar! Also a very clean eating area with outlets (important for travelers who work online). Also a cleaning person on floor! It was really impressive but I'm also comparing to stores where I'm at.....where are pretty ghetto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whole foods has to be my favorite grocery store, it is very expensive but you pay for what you are getting. Most food here is organic and very tasty. I love coming here for a quick lunch when i need to grab something fast (as an alternative to fast food). I definitely recommend the cold and hot bar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best Whole Foods stores in Vancouver but also most probably the most expensive grocery store in Metro Vancouver. The Organic produce section is amazing and so are the seafood, meat and bakery sections. There is hardly anything you would not find in here except for my beloved Barley Bran. Unfortunately, the coffee bar closes at 2pm when the afternoon crowd starts moving in. All in all, it is a pleasure to shop here. Parking is free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had bought the coconut cake along with other assorted pastries from Whole Foods as a dessert. The coconut cake was a hit! Packed with flavour and coconut taste. The cake was fresh and had a tasty filling like pastry cream. It was so good I had 2 slices! The pastries included crème brule (one was watery and the other was just the right consistency), pumpkin tart, lemon tart, chocolate tart and pecan tart. To ensure their freshness, place an order before hand. Having a good assortment of pastries is bound to satisfy everyone’s different tastes.
