Just got my tires done for winter, along with oil change, fluids check etc. 1 day service, love it. Friendly, polite, professional and honest. I highly recommend.

Get there at 5 to see my car is still not in. This business does not understand customer time. They will prioritize your vehicle depending on how much $ you are spending. Just no sense in getting a job done on time. Can't speak about other services, but for me, a mechanic that can't manage their time is a no go. Don't want to know how they operated on an actual busy day. Ps. Also observed the same promises of will finish your car the next day to another customer. I was not the only one whose time was wasted.

They quoted a 3.5 hour job, but have had my car (used for work, picking up kids, etc) for 3 days. Each day it's a new excuse as to why it can't be fixed right now. They don't appear to be prepared for anything other than a perfect situation – for example, we were told today that we're not going to get our car because they "ordered the wrong bolts". How long have you been doing this, exactly where "bolts" are holding up your operation? I know what you're thinking, we must have some weird, foreign car. Nope. It's #6 on top ten selling cars in Canada. Pretty much the most domestic car you can get. They would be given some credit if they even bothered to call us when they knew they were going to not be able to make their commitment. We chased them to get answers, and the answers would change. We were told "you go in order that your car comes in", but there are clearly cars that came way after us that are in and out. This is my second experience with them – the first time was also not a good experience, but it was thought to be a misunderstanding. Now, I don't think it was. While you have a higher rating right now, one day you will offer poor service to an SEO expert and find yourself feeling the same regret as your customer feels. As a business in 2022, I wouldn't risk holding someone's car hostage for 3 days, telling them it's a 3.5 hour job. Just an idea. It appears that the owner of the business replies to all negative responses. I encourage that, but know I will update this review with links to receipts, dates, invoices, etc to make my point.

Well, no need to fear, Whitwells, has been taking care of my two Toyotas now for three separate visits. From basic services like Oil changes, winter tire swaps to bigger deals like wheel bearings and drive belt changes. What I love is the detailed assessment they give you with pictures! As for my super old jalopy, we can discuss priority versus these items can wait. The super friendly hellos when you walk in sure are nice too. Thanks Shawn, Emily and the rest of the team for making me feel like I’ve got a great team looking after my cars and my wallet. I definitely recommend coming here.

I have been to Whitwell's a number of times and I continue to be very happy with their service and professionalism. From new tire recommendations and install, to brakes and oil changes, I have been more than satisfied with their work. The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you live on the West mountain. A great garage! I highly recommend Whitwell's Service Centre.
