★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm living in the staff housing and for new comers I recommend getting a comforter before arriving, bring your own towel and invest in an electric frypan or skillet. Our room doesn't have a stove and only 3 small camping style hotplates that don't work at all. Be aware that you have to supply almost everything.

WB House is currently filling up 1200 beds in extremely close quarters with no ability to separate beds more than 1 metre apart. You will be sharing a bedroom with 2/3 different people and you WILL contract Covid19. Your unit will be about 400 sq ft and you will share it with 6 people. These people WILL be coming from all around the world.
I have reached out numerous times to share my concerns and have been met with "if you don't like it, find somewhere else to live."
Vail Resorts shocking disregard for the provincial regulations and the safety of our small town needs to be addressed. The people that run the housing department are extremely stubborn and un-supportive. The fact that they will not follow their WorkSafeBC approved Health and Safety plan is concerning and illegal.
Covid cases in Whistler are ramping up as community transmission increases due to more indoor visiting. WB House WILL become a breeding ground for Covid and everyone considering working for Vail Resorts needs to be aware of the actions this company will do in order to turn a profit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hit the jackpot this year getting my own room but normally this place is the midway point between a prison cell and a summer camp cabin. Building 7 has ovens which is neat I guess. Precovid times were supposedly a lot more fun. Overall though, at the price they charge it really is the best place on offer.
Everyone leaves dorms with "an experience of a lifetime".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10/10 would live here again . Great staff, $100 a week rent , ski in ski out location , get building 7 though!! It has ovens and comfortable couches.
