I've been in this industry all of my life and the care, experience, and knowledge here is just amazing! Fabulous facility, unbelievable care of the horses and just a ton of knowledge from the owners!

The owners Heather and Jesse go the extra mile for all of their boarders, and are very generous with hay.
My horse looks great and I am very happy to be a boarder at such a welcoming and well-kept facility!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is an amazing caretaker and runs an excellent facility. It's been many years since I boarded at this facility, but I always recommend it to anyone who is looking in the area. She goes out of her way to accomdate requests and is always willing to lend a hand.
Without hesitation, she accepted my mare to her facility back in 2013 while I was away on vacation. She got her settled in and sent me photos and updates. When I moved to the south of Calgary she offered to trailer my mare to the new facility. I can't say enough good things about Wheatland!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my horse at this facility 12 years ago. Only moved to pursue training in our specific sport. Now we are back at Wheatland for a few years. The care and the people are as amazing now as they were 12 years ago. Knowledgeable owner who always goes the extra mile. Hands on and caring. Wonderful multi-discipline facility. English coach on site, or boarder can have their own certified coaches come and give them lessons. Well maintained indoor and outdoor arenas, and loads of trails around the property for year round outdoor riding. I cannot say enough good things about Heather and Jesse, and the care that they give the horses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been a horse owner for over 25 years and have boarded at a handful of facilities but Wheatland hands down has been one of if not the very best! Heather goes above and beyond for her boarders! She treats each horse as if they are her own and always communicates openly. I moved to Wheatland almost a year ago from a facility that truly abused my horses where one ended up with a fractured jaw, skinny, starving, and would have colic episodes at least once a month if not more. Within a short 2 months at Wheatland, he put all his weight back on plus more, hasn’t had a single colic episode and is happy. He was a nervous wreck and to be told that he’s turned into a cool dude where a 10 year old can turn him in and out makes my heart so happy. I wish I found Wheatland years ago! I 1000% trust and recommend Wheatland. The facility is very clean, pricing is very fair and very transparent, horses fed ample good quality hay 3-4 times a day, and many options for trainers on site or bring your own qualified coach since Heathers focus is stable management and horse care. I can sleep at night knowing my horses are safe and well taken care of. Can’t thank the owners enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Low key, approachable facility open to every kind of equines. I've boarded at this lovely simple facility for over 6 years now. Mostly quiet, well kept facility with a very responsive owners that goes out of their way to respond to concern and questions. Very flexible and open to all kind of lessons. Kids welcomed and encouraged to learn good horsemanship. Feeding of special care equine a speciality it seems and so glad my horses is in excellent hands. The dynamic group of boarders at Wheatland create an amazing barn culture. It is a relaxing facility that gives you a breath of fresh air while visiting your horse after a busy (and stressful) day at work. Not only will you thoroughly enjoy your time here, you can finally take a break from stressing about whether your pony is receiving top notch care.
From the paddocks to the field, the property is well taken care of. There is no debris and garbage laying around. You won’t need to worry about any external factors harming your horses. The stalls in the barn are cleaned thoroughly so the barn never smells bad. The indoor arena is well maintained and has soft powdery footing
I truly couldn’t have anything but amazing things to say about this barn. Here are some additional benefits to this facility:
- The horses are fed QUALITY hay!! (No bloated ponies here!)
- The outdoor arena is huge!
- Prices are affordable!
- You can purchase grain and supplements monthly - no more lonestar trips for me!
- The barn and the arena are ACTUALLY heated to a comfortable temperature
The Wheatland barn family is actually a family, everyone is accepted with open arms. When ever I have needed help or have a question, someone is always there to guide me or to lend helpful advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my old barn had a strangles outbreak Heather didn't have to provide the hay for my two horses but she did anyway. When I moved to Wheatland breezin settled in just fine. Our riding capabilities have gotten better with Heather help, lending me her western saddle when she didn't have to when i had to sell mine due to not fitting my horse. and providing me with a new English saddle when she knew I was looking for a new one.
She takes care of the horses like they are her own, feeds them and feeds them feed and blankets as well. The place is well taken care for and always clean.
There is always coaches at the barn for people wanting or needing help with lessons.
I will always recommend this barn for how good it is and you pay good to been In a great facility. Heather even goes beyond and forth when she doesn't have to. But she makes her boarders are happy and there horses are as well.
