About Sweet Talk Stables
Our Beginner introductory course creates the perfect start for people to get into horseback riding by first learning the complete basics. the course is about 4 hours long and is mandatory for new riders coming to take lessons.
This Indoor Clinic is set up for any beginner riders from the ages of 5 to 105 wanting to take lessons at Sweet Talk Stables. It is also open to anyone who wants to learn basic horsemanship. The clinic consists of 4 sections over a couple of hours including:
1) Safety & Etiquette
2) Horse body Language catching and Leading
3) Parts of the Horse and grooming
4) Tack and Tacking up

We find that children under the age of 10 need to take the course with a parent or guardian as they can not always do everything on their own. The parent/guardian should be the person that will be bringing them to and helping them get ready for their lessons.
We offer a Parent/Guardian and child price of $125+GST for the duo.
Regular Clinic Price is $100+GST
We also offer group rates (schools, businesses, friends, etc.) if you have a group of 4 or more contact Joyce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 2016, I broke my leg at this stable. It was my first lesson and everything was going well until the end when my horse stepped on my foot and broke it. I believe this could have been prevented if the instructors were more aware of what was going on. I also couldn’t help notice how dirty the barn was and because of these factors I ended up in a cast up to my legs for 6 months. If there was a zero rating, I would give it that because my experience was so bad. I’m just giving my honest opinion, I believe in transparency.

BE Careful though. Big animals, the instructors can't save you from being stepped on. Not a sport for the incompetent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barn was okay for a while, boarded my horse there and noticed fences down, there was junk in the field for horses to injure themselves on and their water trough was rarely ever filled, owner did not care. Showing was more important than the actual upkeep of the place and I did not find many of the people there very friendly, after I left I found out Joyce had been bad mouthing me anytime my name was brought up. I am so disappointed.

Joyce’s lesson program is amazing her and her daughters students (including myself) have had nothing but success over the years.

No matter your age or level of experience you will learn the in and outs of riding (English or Western) and more importantly you will learn horsemanship. Along with great training I find the atmosphere light and family friendly. Instantly you become very comfortable with the family owners and the rest of the regular clients. Everyone is welcome in their inclusive environment, The Enders Family is very accommodating and respectful of everyone’s requests and on many occasions go above and beyond to cater to their clients needs. Whether you ride competitively, for fun or just love to be around horses Sweet Talk is your place.

Been going here since the summer of 2019, bought my first horse from them and haven’t had any regrets at all! The workers + owners take care of the animals fantastically, making sure they are well fed, not under stress, no injuries. take the animals care and well-being very seriously. Would highly recommend sweet talk stables!
