★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My elderly stepmother has been a dementia patient at Wexford for the past year. Frankly, given what I know now, it would not be my first choice (big understatement!). If you are reading this and do have a choice, my advice would be to look at other facilities first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am the Physiotherapist in Wexford Creek and started here 7 months ago. We have a team of Rehab Assistants that cumulatively work 30 hours a week with our patients helping to maintain or increase their mobility and deal with soft tissue problems . I believe that dignity for all patients be maintained.
The administration and the rest of the health team from cleaners to nursing including maintenance have endeavored to make Wexford a first class organization where your loved ones will be properly cared for.
Our new administer Chris Evans , [sometimes I think he sleeps here lol ]has made and is continuing to make positive changes.
I am here 8 hours a week which I have broken down to basically 2 afternoons . My door is open should you need to discuss anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father was there for 5 months prior to his passing in long term complex care. . .wonderful, helpful and accommodating staff and management there throughout the COVID period and was one of the best places around Nanaimo we ended up going with. They have good facilities for Alzheimer's as well with their cottages where my stepmother stayed. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no regrets about moving to Wexford Creek Independent Living. I really feel at home. Your terminology of "Wexford Family" is correct. I am also impressed with the variety of recreational activities available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing but positives to say about Wexford Creek. From the moment you walk in the door you're treated like family. Recreation Team is always busy with different activities to keep the residents interacting with each other. First class meals, and housekeeping is top notch, keeping everyone safe with their attention to detail. The nursing team is amazing, approachable, friendly, and genuine. The Site Leader is doing wonderful things at Wexford Creek. Thank you for all you do Wexford.
