Recommended by a repeat customer who was very loyal. Took advantage of. Overcharged labour. Hidden costs that were never discussed prior to installation. This is not the way that business is conducted in 2019. Lost two future local customers.

I can not say enough good things about these guys. My family has used them exclusively as our mechanics for nearly 20 years. They are always honest, fair and do great work. Any chance I get I recommend them to my friends. They will never try to sell you on something that you don't need.

Had an emergency with our TDI. They claim they are VW specialist so I towed our TDI to there. Oil pan got a hole at the bottom. Car stopped working and towed to the shop. He said the engine still able to turned by hand (because no oil so we couldn't fire it up) and quoted me for $441 to change the oil pan and the filter (might as well). Everything changed, but now they told me engine is toasted. While i'm still trying to figure out what to do with it, I asked my colleagues to get the stuff out first because we can best use the stuff while it sitting there waiting to be fixed or scrap. Then they stopped my colleagues and passed me an invoice of $483.60. They told me the $441 was just an estimate but not a quote. Claimed that they only charging 3 hours instead of 6 hours. Now we have a car with engine dead but with the new stuff there. Also being impolite to us claiming "it's not our fault for letting it run without oil at the first place". They tried to cover my voice by speaking loudly and push that responsibility to me while they are the so-called doctor of car, and kept saying it's our fault?? because they diagnosed it wrong about the health of the engine?? And charging higher than what they told us? And say they are in mercy already? Well, if they knew something might be a problem, then shouldn't at least recommend to plug that hole by something first, put some oil in it and test it? Since they are the specialist? Instead, they mislead us to think there is hope to the engine without making sure. Maybe they think we are new customer to them so they can be rude to us. Or think we are a business so they can charge whatever and we going to pay whatever. This is going to be just a one time deal, and we will never go back again. it's not because of the overcharge or wrong diagnosis, and it's not because of rushing us to pay immediately, because I get it, work has been done then it's done. However, we do not recommend them is because of the attitude of blaming us by raising their voice over us while we tried to find out why they charged that way and why they didn't used a cheap easy method to test it instead of putting all the new stuff on it (that's the alternative method I found from another mechanic). Also seized our stuff to forced us pay in full first while we were trying to figure out why they charged us with a higher amount.

I have used Rob at Wetmore for all my repairs and servicing for several years. The mechanics at Wetmore are highly competent and trustworthy, and the fact that they are personable is a huge bonus. I would highly recommend.

I have been coming here for over 7 years with both European and North American cars. They never let me down. Professional work at a reasonable price.

My father and mother have used Wetmore for decades. Recently we got a quote from a dealer to fix a broken lock on a relatively new (but out of warranty) car we'd purchased from them. Dealer wanted close to $1000! Wetmore fixed it for under $100. Wrote the dealer. They were apologetic but should have skipped the dealer in the first place and just gone to Wetmore. Not going to repeat that mistake again.

I have been going to Wetmore for servicing my cars since 1979. They do excellent and honest work. They do not do "cheap, do not compromise their quality nor reliability. They always look for the best solution for your service need. Once, they were not able to solve my problem and they would not charge me anything, in spite of their spending hours looking at possible solutions. They understand that they have your vehicle and your financial interest at heart. Completely trustworthy.

I wouldn't trust my vehicle anywhere else. Rob is honest, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I know that the team at Wetmore do a thorough vehicle inspection with every tune up, and they'll make sure I'm going to be safe on the road.
