Amazing staff. They really take care of you as always.

Wow, I don't know where to begin! I visted Westpointe dental back in July with a hugely swollen gum above a tooth that was previously treated back in the UK for a root canal several years before. I walked in in a complete panic with no appointment booked and only two days in Calgary in which to have it looked at, before embarking on a week long hike. They immediately made space for me in their busy schedule, taking x-rays and pictures of the tooth and an appointment with Dr. Yaholnitsky. Carla sent the x-rays off to a specialist who they called a favour in with (he was going on holiday imminently) to look at them, who assured us the x-ray looked ok. I was sent home with a germicidal mouthwash and cotton swabs to clean the tooth with, and they made another appointment to see me the next day. I saw Dr. Yaholnitsky again, who then gave me a free washbag including two new toothbrushes, mouthwash, swabs, and special cleaners for getting under the gum. He also gave me the contact details of dentists he recommended in Vancouver to contact if my tooth flared up again. I was absolutely amazed by the speed of the service and the immense care the entire team at this clinic- I have never had an experience like it. As a 22-year old English backpacker passing through the area for just two days I was just so grateful to them all and I will never forget their generosity! Their response was that they have kids a similar age to me, and that they would hope they would be looked after just as well as I was if they were travelling abroad. I could not recommend them more. (Another thing I noticed was a huge box of toys that kids could chose a toy from after their appointment, which was a lovely touch).

I normally don't write reviews for anything but the staff at Wespointe Dental were so pleasant and went above and beyond for a customer that I think they deserve a great review. Was told this am that one of their dental assistance were sick and being the first appointment my session was delayed for just a bit, yet they kept apologizing and even gave me a Starbucks gift card for the minimal inconvenience. I was super impressed with the service from the first call in to make an appointment to the actual visit. Just want to say a big thanks to the staff again, can't wait to come back next time which is odd for someone to say when it's for a dental visit. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family in the near future. Thanks! Eric

The best health service I've received!! Carla went out of her way to find out for me what my insurance covers and was transparent about what I should expect regarding the bill. The hygienists were all friendly and were respectful about my budget and what services I could afford. The hygienist spotted an issue and Dr. Yaholnitsky kindly fit me in his schedule right after my cleaning. He did a great job patching it up!

We love Dr. Michelle and Westpointe Dental! Excellent dental care with such a welcoming feeling. Thanks for making us feel like family!

This is the best dental practice that I have ever gone too. The staff is amazing and always puts your care first. Even when you go in for something that ends up being so silly they take the time to make sure all is good and make you feel so comfortable. They are like a family and treat their patients the same. Dr. Denny and Staff thank you so much for everything you do!!! I would recommend you 100%!!

I can’t say enough positive things about the team at Westpointe. They truly care about you as a patient and will always do their best to fit you in when you continue to break the same damn tooth every few months lol ;) I’ve been going there for a number of years and the experience has only improved over this time. Thank you Carla, Darlene, Brenda, Dr Denny and everyone else who consistently provides friendly and thorough service at this clinic. <3

I had an urgent dental matter & Dr Cunningham is my dentist but…he came in on a day off with his amazing assistant Cindy! In a matter of a couple of hours, their caring bedside manner & patience I was out of pain & feeling much more relaxed. I cannot thank the entire team enough for always being so kind-Carla you are the best!!! Their newest receptionist was also so very kind as well which is just how they continue to amaze me. They go out of their way on all fronts and it is greatly appreciated. I would recommend (and do) Dr. Cunningham & his team to anyone. I will always be a happy patient here for years to come. Highly suggest Westpointe Dental & again a huge thank you!
