★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spoke with Allison on Monday(April 12,2021). She was super friendly and helpful. I found an RV at their dealership that I have been seeking for over a year. It was $7000 more than they were last year but do to COVID RV pricing, I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I asked her a few questions and we settled on a $5000 deposit so I could travel to Saskatoon on Friday night and pick up the trailer on Saturday(it’s a 5.5 hour drive for me to get to Saskatoon). When I asked how she wanted me to pay the remaining balance, I was told that a bank draft or a certified cheque would not be accepted. I had to finance the trailer. When I asked why I had to finance the trailer, I was told that do to the economic crisis, only financing is available on newer models. This trailer is a year old and not even a brand that Western RV carries. There was no negotiating. Either finance it or no deal. I’m sure if they would have sold it to me as a cash deal I would have given 4 or 5 stars because Allison was so helpful on the phone but this is ridiculous. I was willing to pay the asking price only to be told I cannot buy it because I will not finance it. It sounds to me like another company operating like the GO Auto group in Alberta.
