Poor television programming, no pay-per view.
Kitchenettes were a plus. No microwaves in rooms were a disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budget and clean stay, near Wendys. (there is another one near Mike's) - stayed one night. The room we had was very large, had a sitting area with fireplace and full size fridge - no microwave. Exceeded my expectations, the room we got was better looking than the pictures shown on the web. Easy to park with trailer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front clerk is an absolute sweetheart! Rooms are inexpensive and thr huge jacuzzi and kinds ideal bed, makes it an awesome stay.
When I lived in Whitecourt I would book this hotel for family wanting to stay in town but not at the house. It was also a fav for romantic getaway nights when we were on a budget and just needed a kid free night.
Clean rooms,comfortable stay, great staff, ample parking, easy access location, great price, breakfast included and a pool!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budget friendly, nice size, fireplace is nice. Decor is very dated.
A few small upgrades like nicer bed linen, light fixtures and drapes could make the place look 100 times better. Continental breakfast was good.
The bad, the bed was a terrible sleep. rock hard, firm, even our little kids complained.Updated mattress would be beneficial. Sleeping on a bed like that isn't good for the body.

drinking water. Bread was Not fresh. The toasting machine was Not working. Also, there is No microwave to warm up food. Overall, I was Not satisfied with my stay in Western Budget Whitecourt #1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is what you expect nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and the rooms are large. We had a few issues with the room and the lady at the front desk was fantastic working quickly to help us out. Will definitely stay here again!
