★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know about other departments but the taxation and utilities department is wonderful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Whether making a payment or just general questions everyone is always polite and cheerful in person or over the phone. When requesting information they are very prompt in getting back to you. Just a great crew down there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to express how truly disappointed I am with WFN chief and council. I worked at Pine Acres Home which was owned by WFN for 10 years. Then they decided to close down the only first nations care home without much warning. How they went about it was so disrespectful for the staff and residents (some WFN members who lived there). There was no vote from members, the chief just decided this was best to take residents away from their home and ship them off somewhere else. Years before the closure, they told us they were expanding the building to make money. They also promised incentives for the staff that stayed there until the very end and we got nothing. We also had to go to court because they didn't want to pay severance, even though they're a very wealthy band. Staff who didn't own a line ended up getting nothing even if they worked FT hours and have been there for years. Truly sickening.
