★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fantastic team here was so helpful in getting me out of pain & gave me practical exercises that kept me out of pain.
??? I love how effective Marie’s Gunn IMS treatments have been to completely take my sciatica pain away and heal up my back/neck. Jeff provided beneficial analysis & effective exercises that improved my functioning and sleep. Jenn is so kind, caring and experienced. Elaine was helpful as well and Rietta’s massages are incredible!
Highly recommended for anyone in pain, needing rehab, wanting to improve their functioning or anyone that has had an injury!
Sometimes their office is very busy so it might be two or three weeks before I could get an appt

I've been to see Jen for most of my exercise-related and sport specific injuries and she is excellent at explaining what is going on and how to strengthen the muscle groups to avoid future strain and injury. They do use machines to help loosen up tissue and tight muscles, but I've found that it is very effective treatment as well. If you would rather someone give "hands-on" treatment for the full session, you are probably better off with a massage therapist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw kinesiologist Jeff Kouwenhoven to help with my recurring lower back after a car accident. He was enthusiastic, realistic, caring, patient and hopeful about my recovery. The exercises and tips he provided me with were very helpful and I would be happy to recommend him to anyone!
Also, the clinic is extremely clean, including the washroom, and the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, and there's always lots of parking available out front!

Mr. Brown was for his treatment, but it wasn't Proactive. Love them!!!

I've been here before for a shoulder condition, my therapist was so fantastic I was able to use my arm again in only 3 treatments. The Therapists here are really professional and have all the latest technology and equipment to get you back on your feet again. I'm back again for a car accident this time. I was rear ended sitting in my parked car, engine off, by a 17 year old girl from Alberta driving daddy's pickup truck. Avoid those AB plates at all costs!!! Whiplash is no fun! The girl denies everything of course so I'm on the hook for a new bumper, but at least ICBC is handling the physio payments and Pro Active deals direct so its a load off my mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking treatments at Pro-Active Physiotherapy for the past year and 1/2 because of a serious back and shoulder injury from an accident in late 2019. From the very beginning the staff and therapists there have been top notch. Supportive, knowledgeable and accommodating to my every need. I can not express how satisfied I am recently with my Kinesiologist " Doctor Emilee Enns". She has virtually fixed my debilitating back and shoulder issues, gave me exercises to strengthen my core and has been such a great support to me in my recovery. Thank you Emilee Enns and Thank you to the physio team as well. I highly recommend Pro-Active Physiotherapy for your recovery needs!!
