★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My alternator turned out to be faulty and I had killed the battery trying to get to Horseshoe Bay . Peter came with a battery to get my vehicle and I to his shop . He then charged my battery and replaced the alternator , all at a very reasonable price and quickly.
I would recommend him to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am sure Peter is very nice guy though I've never seen him. I called him to quote the expenses for changing my snow tires on and repairing a tire whose pressure was always lower than the others. Peter replied that he could help me repair the tire for free and make an appointment with other shops to change snow tires because he had no replace tools. Really a warmhearted guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peter is phenomenal! I went to him before selling my vehicle to make sure it was safe for the new buyer. He knew right away what was going on with my car and was able to give me and the new buyer great advice. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced - you can tell by the cars he has! He was kind and very helpful. I would absolutely suggest Peter to anyone and will absolutely take any new vehicles I have in the area back to him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owning a 12 year old lowish k BMW can be a challenge ( as in expensive) dealerships are not set up to look for solutions to problems over and above replacing something that is not working with anything but new parts. Peter is great at looking at the whole problem and identifying a solution when one is available. My case was a burned out headlight, because of some damage to the headlight structure the dealership solution was whole new front portion of the vehicle at a cost of $2000.00. Peter repaired the light at a small fraction of that cost. He has a wealth of experience and is passionate about cars and their maintenance. Peter is great to deal with. My vehicle is never cleaner and running better than when it leaves West Van Automotive and Marine Service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peter is the best mechanic I have ever come across. As someone who has moved a lot in the last few years, I've brought my car to a different place every time.
Peter is very honest, gives timely responses, sends pictures and takes the time to explain everything that is going on. His pricing is also reasonable.
While my engine is still toast, he did everything to triple check that this is the case and has given me some very good advice on what to do moving forward. Every car owner should have a mechanic like this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peter is a miracle worker! We presented him with the ultimate challenge and he far exceeded our expectations. We were working against a tight timeline to take our SUV on a 6500 km journey through the States and Peter must have worked night and day to get us on the road in time. Not only did he call BS on some ‘must do repairs’ prescribed by the dealer, he also diagnosed and repaired significant issues that the dealer missed/neglected. Most importantly, he was constantly focused on ensuring the car was safe to drive; Peter knew that breaking down on the side of a US highway with two kids was not part of our plan.
After years of working in the auto industry, Peter is extremely well connected when it comes to sourcing parts which means he is able to work fast, with confidence and at an extremely reasonable price. Truly, we were impressed time and time again with what Peter was able to accomplish.
Finally, Peter’s communication is second to none, which I find very hard to come by these days. He is extremely responsive, gives regular updates, is honest about the state of an issue (even sends photos when it makes sense) and checks in afterward to ensure things are working as they should. For those who are curious, the answer is yes, our car is still running strong months after Peter worked his magic:)
Peter, you are tremendous! Thank you for all you do!
