★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids have been in this school for years and we have no regrets choosing this dojo. sensei kenny lim is a decorated karate instructor, has excellent teaching methods and approach. this is a good dojo to start your kids if you are looking for them to have an enjoyable karate experience.

Not only does Sensei Kenny strive for the highest karate standards but also he models and teaches life skills, values and attitudes that are essential to happiness and success. He genuinely cares for each student and supports them inside and outside of the dojo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sensei Kenny Lim is a true teacher who really cares about bringing out the best in his students, whether they are national champions or beginners. From the time my son joined the dojo a few years ago, we've seen how he and the other students have grown dramatically in their karate skills, physical fitness and confidence.
The senior instructors Tan and Thien, as well the senior students (many of whom are provincial and national competition winners), patiently work together to bring out the best in all the students, no matter their skill level. If you or your child want to learn from the best in Karate, and you're willing to put the work in, this is where you belong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed up my son to try out a martial art and I really lucked out that we chose to join West River Karate. Sensei Kenny Lim is truly a professional when it come to karate. His exacting standards, commitment, values and training methods are exemplary. My son has developed very well under his training and through his coaching has performed very well in competitions. I was so impressed I joined karate myself and have even started competing as well. Overall I highly recommend this dojo to anyone interested in learning a traditional martial art.
