She loved the atmosphere and the instructors and so she has been going to Taekwondo regularly since then. We highly recommend Metro Taekwondo ; they have awesome instructors and the schedule of the classes are great.

Both my boys were reluctant to join at first as new experiences can always be intimidating for kindergarteners, but with the patience, encouragement and engagement from Master Ruiter and the instructors, we practically live at the dojang now. It is amazing to see how far our boys have come in such short a time and they definitely could not have achieved it without the hard work, devotion and attention to detail the instructors have invested in them. Metro is also the best place to hold a birthday party! The enthusiastic instructors tailor all the games, activities and taekwondo aspects to the age group and mixture of party goers and everyone has a great time (including the parents watching)! Definitely a unique and fun birthday party experience!

After the two week trial, my boys found it to be very fun, and I found it to be very structured. My boys have now been attending the school for over 3 years and I am seeing a difference in their behaviour and confidence.

Metro Performance is so much more than a Dojo where one is taught martial arts. It is a place where children of many different ages are taught discipline and to find their confidence within and allow it to be present, in the moment. It is a place where you are to respect your instructors and masters and where they to, respect you. It is a place where children grow and learn, while having fun. It is a place where laughter is shared between instructors and students. It is a place where instructors go that extra mile to ensure you feel successful. It's a fantastic combination that has all students, including my son, thrive. Learning martial arts is a gift to any child that is lucky enough to experience it, and Metro makes that learning fun and engaging.

The instructors have taught him a lot about discipline but they also emphasize fun and fitness. My wife and I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get their children active. We also had our sons birthday party there last weekend and everyone had a fantastic time. There were 11 kids and 15 adults. Master Jason and Master Philip kept the kids busy for two hours with some Taekwondo kicking and punching exercises and then lots of fun games. We had enough room to set up munchies and food for everyone and a great time was had by all.

I've seen a huge improvement in Caleb's ability to focus and his confidence. The instructors are amazing at what they do, you can tell they all really enjoy teaching the kids. I've gone to their different adult martial art classes by now, so I've experienced the different services. When I haven't gone due to injuries or covid, what I missed the most was them, the people. The instructors are out-of-this-world motivational and personable. Special shout out to Phil, the ever-patient and enthusiastic coach.
