I enjoyed flying WestJet, would reccomend WestJet when flying to Calgary.

Decent airline, no IFE ( inflight entertainment ) food was ok but the customer service was great

Zero tolerance for customers not wearing a mask. Calling the police on a 19 month old for not wearing a mask. Breaking the law for ordering people to wear a mask. It is a shame that a company that was once so highly regarded for it's customer care has turned into a bad experience.

Horrible tiny, loud and very uncomfortable aircraft. WestJet often changes the 737 we booked to the Encore Q400 before the flight date. When Encore launched, they were supposed to be Westjet’s lower priced offshoot. Unfortunately the lower prices never materialized and Encore gouges Canadians the same as WestJet and Air Canada do! If you have a choice, DON’T fly Encore!

The staff here are really caring. I had a flight to NZ and I wasn't aware about the new eta. I got there while my eta was still under process. They kindly booked me on another flight (although Westjet was just the first leg and main flight was with another carrier) and got me onto the next flight to my destination once my eta was approved. This shows they (Westjet) cares for their customers. Paula and another lady (sorry I forgot your name) helped me out. KUDOS WESTJEST!

I was scheduled to fly out of Calgary tomorrow but due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to cancel my reservations. I phoned West Jet and spoke with a customer service representative named Rich. I explained my need to cancel. Because my booking did not allow for cancellations, changes of credits for the flight, he was unable to offer any compensation. Rich suggested that I transfer to Guest Services. I was transferred and spoke with Ryan. I again explained my circumstances. Ryan, he was patient and understanding. He explained the policies attached to my flight but said he would speak to his supervisor. He placed me on a short hold and when he returned, he let me know that he had approval to provide me a flight credit for the amount that I had paid! He took time to set up a West jet Rewards ID for me and immediately applied my travel credit. Ryan passed along his sincere condolences to our family. I was treated with patience and respect throughout my interaction with both Rich and Ryan. Thank you for the accommodation.
