β β β β β What a lovely store. Amazing selection of seeds which are suited to our area. West Coast Seeds has a wonderful selection of different varieties of heritage, heirloom and organic seeds for your vegetables and flower gardens. Lots of gardening knickknacks to help you including tools, and reading material. The staff are helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The customer service is great as I ordered a heavy bag of seed from the warehouse and was able to pickup at the Ladner store on a Saturday. I got a couple of packs of lettuce seeds for free as well! Overall, we love this artisanal garden shop and tend to spend about an hour exploring all that it has to offer.

β β β β β Customer Service severely lacking. Ordered a 2.5kg bag seeds for express shipping. When weeks went by I reached out for explanation but never heard back. Seeds did arrive but not worth the extra money for express.
Followed instructions for spreading seeds but after 2 weeks with nothing sprouting I reached out to customer service for help. They suggested that I should continue to wait and said that my location was too cold for grass seeds to grow at this time of year. They decided that I lived in Terrace BC but when I told them that they were mistaken and that I live in the lower mainland I never heard back from them.
I will not be a returning customer. Very disappointed as I have been preparing for grass in my yard for a year.

β β β β β What a great place for all your gardening needs. A vast selection of bird feeders, garden tools and of course....SEEDS. I wish I had a garden to plant them in and see what vegetables I could grow. And obviously I would have a Worm Factory.

β β β β β In the heat dome of 2021 we didn't water the lawn. We picked out weeds that sprouted and realigned all our sprinklers. In April 2022 we poured most of this package of clover seed LS902c and added a package of flower that were suggested. It was cooler than normal so the clover was not visible after two weeks. Some flowers were. Now it has been a month after planting (I didn't add any soil but just rototilled the previous lawn into the dirt.) and the lawn is thick with bee friendly clover and flowers. The clover is still tiny but the flowers have come up and this is the first sight of them opening up. I just spread the rest of the clover seed onto a few low density areas. Oneast note, I also purchased the seeds last winter and stored them in my basement. Thanks West Coast Seeds, everything went as planned...with a little work. ?

β β β β β Great selection of seeds and gardening accessories. Their seeds are also sold at the local farm markets and only. With the increased price of groceries and people doing more gardening during pandemic, certain seeds are in short supply. One can also buy online. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
