I end up going to a medical clinic instead of my doctor half the time because it’s impossible to get through on the phone and get an appointment. I’ve waited up to 45 minutes for the receptionist to answer the phone. Also the admin staff isn’t very friendly or accommodating.

Christine Athwal was Condescending and rude. More than one occasion she brushed me off (I'd only been a patient for about 6 months with a fairly serious medical issue). Told me to go to the hospital if i didn't feel well, no interest in treating me. Dozens of tests and never phoned with results, i had to call the receptionist to ask and the receptionist had to give me results and vtell me my next test. Not one office follow up and no discussion or plan for treatment. May as well use a virtual service or walk in clinic. She doesn't deserve to be called a family doctor. Very unprofessional and clearly untrained.

Do not have Dr. Mangat as your physician. He appears to not know much about his patient`s file when speaking to him. I do not know if he is too lazy to even look at the file before speaking to you or what his problem is. Nonetheless it is scary that someone like him is in charge of your health. The last phone call was originated from him yet he did not know why we were meeting. I fired him and his character showed with his sarcastic comments

Dr Dillon is a amazing Dr for women ! She has genuine empathy for you. She is knowledgable and loves her job . West Coast clinic is very clean and professional. The location is easy to find.

Had a recent experience with DR. G. Dillon where she repeatedly lied to me. I have stage 4 cancer and went in looking for pain relief . she had zero care about that and started chasing down ridiculous claims for infections and very un-professionally started making devastating claims that my cancer had spread to my bone marrow with zero tests or science to back it up. Then when finally addressing my pain relief she couldn’t even manage to fill out a prescription properly and now refuses to answer the pharmacy or my calls to address the problem. Over a week later I am still waiting in pain for this under qualified egotistical doctor. I would trust the advise from my local veterinarian over the advice of DR. Dillon.

Dr. G. Dillon is my primary care physician providing service at the West Coast Medical Group. I find her to be an exceptional doctor. She is knowledgeable and up to date, able to explain complex medical concepts and procedures in an easy to understand way, and has the uncanny ability to get to the root of the problem and partner with you to get you healthy. Her follow up is great - and she has great connections within the medical community. The few times I’ve needed specialist care -the people she has referred me to have also provided great service. I understand she is also actively involved in the larger medical community and the community at large. Perhaps the most important piece is that during a pandemic, she has always provided positive efficient care. Adjusting to changes (i.e. phone consults, longer wait times, staffing challenges) is difficult for us as patients, but I’m sure it's been a nightmare for those who take care of our health. Dr. Dillon has always been clear and transparent about treatment wait times and has found alternatives for me when services have been delayed. Dr. G. Dillon is also the doctor in charge of the complex care for my elderly parent who is a retired nurse. I am so grateful for the doctor/patient relationship Dr. Dillon has with my parent. Dr. Dillon was able to win this patient over with her kind and friendly manner coupled with her confident and knowledgeable care - reducing my own stress as my parent's caregiver. There are many complaints here on google maps reviews about the administrative service levels. I’ve also experienced challenges in wait times to answer the phone and other delays myself. I can only say that I believe those challenges are pandemic related and include an increase in no-shows and other situations beyond their control. I feel once policies and procedures in the existing healthcare system are addressed to support our primary care physicians - only then service levels can improve. My anecdotal evidence when comparing medical experiences with others is that the West Coast Medical team are doing a wonderful job with the challenges they face.

I have been a patient of West Coast Medical for a few years. Their staff are always so friendly and helpful. There have been times when I have needed my son or daughter to be seen quickly and they are always so accommodating. Also, at my old doctors office when I would make an appt I would still have to wait up to an hour to be seen. The staff at West Coast always gets me in and I am seen quickly. Thank you for always being so helpful!! It is appreciated.

We have been patients of this clinic for almost 10 years. The staff are helpful and friendly, and always manage to get me an appointment when I need one. I have been especially impressed with the diligence and resilience of the staff during the Pandemic. I have been able to have a phone conversation with my doctor within a reasonable amount of time, and the doctor is always prompt, never making me feel rushed. Great clinic!
