Dim sum here pretty good. Portions are decent size and taste is good too. Tables have built-in induction elements so I'm guessing that the have hotpot in the evenings. Service is pretty good, but it was not busy at time of this review so will need to see again when busy. They have 10% off and no tea charge during weekdays to draw in more weekday lunch customers. Came here first year they opened and glad they are still here and still pretty clean with decently good food still. This is in a smaller lesser-known shopping plaza, so plenty of parking. They do also have Choices and a Starbucks here for things to do later.

Tasty quality food - good selection and the owners is always there cooking in the Kitchen. Best in South Surrey and would recommend the desert. The spring rolls were made inhouse.

We read that it was the best Chinese restaurant in the area so gave it a try. We ordered three dishes:Seafood rice with XO sauce, chicken chow mein and supreme beef with onions, all for 80$!!!! Chow Mein was burned and dry under the chicken (which was literally 3 bites). Beef was the smallest portion we ever had in a Chinese Restaurant, especially when it costs 32$, but it was tasty at least. Seafood rice had 4 small shrimps and 3 tiny scallops and although it was spicy we found it tasteless, also charged 20 plus $ ! For sure it didn't worth our money. I gave two stars just for the beef.

This place used to be incredible but sadly is no longer very good ?. When Ming Yan first opened, the food and front staff was amazing; an unbelievable gem in south surrey. It is only mediocre now. I am probably being a bit harsh, and it may be better than mediocre to some, but compared with what this place was like for the first few years, it is not even close. We’ve tried returning 3 times since first being disappointed about 4-6 months ago but the decline in quality has only been confirmed. I’m not sure whether we will try again but I hope they can get their former chef(s) back (or hire better ones) and get back on track. We raved about this place for years when they first opened but it seems south surrey is void of quality authentic Chinese food again ?. Also, they need to do away with the gimmicky robot waiter; that also ruined the experience each time. It was noisy (exact same music tone and voice each time), distracting, unreliable and exceedingly annoying. I can’t imagine the mental anguish the staff must be going through dealing with the chronic repetitive noise and mistakes of this thing. It certainly does not create a calm healthy environment for them to concentrate on producing quality food and service.

The best in South Surrey. Hidden gem! I love this place. Their Dim Sum is better than Vancouver and Richmond. I got a special Chinese New Year dish from the Chef. It taste better than the one I had in China.

Take out dinner dishes were reasonably authentic. Good price. Good portion. However Mayne due to low traffic during COVID, many dimsum items don't taste the best. Really had high hopes for their dim sum because it is the only sort of authentic dim sum/Chinese food in South Surrey.

Came here for dim sum on a Saturday morning, and it was not busy. They have the main dim sum staples but the menu is not very extensive. Some dishes were tasty, some fell short of average. Price came up to about $25 per person. Unfortunately for one of the dishes, I found a thick green rubber band that was cooked right inside my bean curd roll. This a health and safety hazard. The staff offered to remake the dish but as I had lost my appetite, they removed the item from my bill instead. My friends enjoyed their experience here but I do not think I will be coming back.

First time there. Decent food and price they have those robot waiter which was pretty cool. Missing two stars due to that they didn't check our vaccine passport at all when we walk in and their table are quite close to one another
