Rides are fun , some line ups and some staff are friendly and professional. Some are completely spaced out. Never did play any games. 4 kids at 40 $ a pop. Not cheap. Great day with my family.

Good that we can spend less time and money than PNE, but still get a carnival experience. Had fun in previous years. This year, they don't have any COVID procedures that I can see. No physical distancing, no wipe down, no limit on capacity. Maybe that's allowed now, but if you are still nervous, I'd sit this year out. If you don't care, then have fun! Pack your patience because line up's are a gong show (they don't have any railings or line up markings so line up's for different rides get mixed up sometimes)

Why I love West Coast Amusements is that I can take my boy there, saving a lot of time compared to going to Playland when you wait for then to come to your neighborhood You can buy a ride pass which is similar in Playland cost but since there's no admission or parking it more than makes up for the lesser amount of rides. If you go at Cloverdale Rodeo they have more too. The other huge bonus is if you get a pass you can come and go all day if you want, unlike Playland where you're forced to stay and eat their food. West Coast still has all the treats you'd want from a Carnival. I've also had nothing but positive experiences with all staff.

I would give it no stars if possible. I was there with 1 friend from 3-9:30 and only got on 3 rides. After waiting 3 hours to get on a ride with my friend, the staff and bystanders yelled at my friend to fill up the 1 remaining seat on a ride, so we didn't even get to go on together. There was no direction for the line ups and very poorly managed.

2 stars for not killing us. Went to the Victoria Mayfair Mall location. Family of 4, $52, 2 rides each and it all took over 5 hours of waiting in lineups. This company is clearly gouging to make up for lost time from the pandemic. Never ever again.

Kamloops BC. When the fair’s in town I always get excited, this year I was disappointed. It was absolutely crowded, there were no recreation areas for bystanders. There really should be something to keep the lines direct and noticeable. I was there for 2+ hours and only got one ride in…. For $45 that’s bull. Stood in a line for 30 minutes just to realize it wasn’t the line we thought it was because so many large groups were standing all over, lines to different rides were going through each other and combining. Stood in a line only for the group in front of us to end up deciding they no longer want to go, and just standing there, creating a line to nothing. Kids, teens and even adults were constantly just pushing into the front of lines, forcing more people to wait. It wasn’t worth it

I went when they were at Coquitlam Centre this past weekend. Just so you know, all of the kids rides are too small for adults to accompany their children. The rides also state children must be at least 2 years old. See the disconnect? Not that any sane parent would stick their 2 year old on a ride by themselves, but this company proudly points to 40 year old standards that they minimally comply with as their reason to avoid safety from injury as opposed to safety from litigation. They could have disclosed this but the only place you can find out is by physically being there and seeing the signs. Some say no adults, some say there's a maximum height and some say nothing at all and you find out after you've lined up for half an hour. They bank on the omission to fool you and of course, there's no refunds.

went to the Carnival in Coquitlam this weekend. had the worst experience with the games. the games are $5 per play, meaning $5 one dart if you play the dart, or $5 / 2 balls if you play toss the ball. so basically $5 for 5 seconds play and in most cases you don't get anything - just like gambling. I can understand it can be quite pricy after the two year pandemic restrictions, but the people who serve the games were also so rude - did not explain the rule and just took the money away. it's totally rip off as many players here are young kids - my son was completely taken aback. I would say all the games are just tricks to take you money. I'd rather make donations to the company for the sake of children having fun than being scammed. The fries I purchases were also cold and greasy. I wanted to give a one star but to be fair, my kids enjoyed most of the rides although understandably there were crowds and long line-ups everywhere.
