j	joan highet on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered my fresh turkey and some other meats and things from Wellington Butchery and picked up morning of December 24th. Drove by twice and a long, long line up. I phoned and they said they would bring it out when I arrived the third time. Absolutely the best service ever. Waited maybe 60 seconds for them to come out with my order, the young lady on the phone was the best representative ever. She sold me far more things than I was ever planning to buy :) The young man that brought out my order apologized for taking so long - it was like 60 seconds. The turkey was excellent and the lamb chops exquisite. Talk about the best and friendliest customer service! This will be my new go to place for meat. Thanks, you made it so easy.

Additionally, they consistently stock duck breasts, various stocks and other staples. They're the only butcher where when I walk in looking for something, I know it will be in stock. They even remove the silver skin for you from their pork ribs. Bottom line, when you shop here, they have what you want, always. Absolutely the best butcher in Ottawa (and Toronto) end of story.

Even my Texas BBQ cookbook warns that it can be difficult to source this cut of meat. This is now my default place to buy meat for weekend low-and-slow BBQs.

Now my go-to-place for great quality meats, reasonable prices and the staff are always helpful! Highly recommend.

Their prepared stuff is just ok, and the value is not great. You overpay for things you could find in a grocery store by about 15 percent or so.

They provided us fresh, local wings and WOW!!! They were amazing! Check-out the latest photos and see for yourself. Thanks again to the fantastic team at Wellington Butchery for such outstanding service and exceptional products! Update - October 2020 - Decided to try a Prime Rib roast for Thanksgiving and it turned out amazing! Check out the photos. Thank you again! I recently found this little gem and it has quickly become one of my favourite stores in Ottawa! Every interaction with the staff has been amazing and of course the quality of the meat is outstanding. I have used the curbside pick-up several times now and each time my order was accurate and easy to use. Keep up the great work!
