M	Max Power on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found out while getting a plate sticker I had some kind of fine but MTO couldn’t tell me what it was till I paid it, got an account number, then I could find out. Provincial Offenses couldn’t find at first, finally found it was a ticket issued in Welland. Called Welland, they couldn’t find it and claimed it wasn’t them. Back and forth, finally Welland found it was an old alleged parking ticket on a vehicle that I no longer owned. I never got a ticket. Never got any notification of a ticket. They said they sent me a letter, but I never got a letter, so if they did send a letter, which I don’t believe, they would have had it returned. What an ordeal trying to get some information and dispute this alleged ticket. I couldn’t get anywhere with the city of Welland, they just said there was nothing I could do. No day in court, no notice, no admission they made mistakes. So I just reversed the charge on my credit card. Problem solved.
D	Diane Furtney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If anyone in Welland has a city owned tree on or near their property GET IT INSPECTED ASAP! We are currently dealing with (actually have been dealing with it for 3 months!) the city and their horrible desire to take responsibility for a tree that they own that fell on our house and we are being told they are not going to pay for damages!! They said they inspected it but can not give us a date as to when. Have them inspect it thoroughly. They said the part that fell was on the other side of where they inspected...so they are admitting to not fully inspecting it well but we are on the hook!! not acceptable!

In the same year they spent thousands of "Tax Payers" money to completely repair a stone wall pond at Memorial Park. Weeks/Month afterwards they decide they needed another Baseball Diamond so they filled in the pond and put a Baseball Diamond there! "Mayor Champion" is a joke! ??

I guess the city personel walk around with rose coloured glasses on well take them off and clean up your city and get a real Mayor shame on you.
