Welco Furniture - Mississauga

We bought couch here last fall and it finally arrived - delays were Covid related. However it wouldn't fit into our basement.  We called Jessy and while we could not return it she set us up with a technician.  He came 2 days later and was able to get it down the stairs. We very much appreciated her help with this situation.  Great customer service.

I bought a bedroom furniture set from Welco two years ago. Apparently it came from a Canadian company that exclusively deals through them. King size storage bed, night tables, and dresser. Had all three customized to suit my needs. The initial shopping experience was amazing. Loved the designs and the ability to customize, along with the service in the store from Amer and Bobby. Delivery however is where everything went downhill.  First of all it was a month late due to "manufacturing issues". Then, every single item was damaged during delivery, and my floors scratched while the delivery crew was SLIDING the furniture into my bedroom rather than lifting it. Some of the holes from headboard to bed pieces also didn't align properly and was missing hardware. It took weeks to get someone to come out and fix what he could. Emails to Bobby were ignored and phone calls not returned. I had to go back into the store a few times to get them to address my issues in person and call their repair person while I stood there watching and waiting to ensure it got done. Now most of it was repaired (Except for an 8 inch crack in one piece that happened during manufacturing, which would require a panel replacement they did not do as it was cosmetic, not functional) but the fact is the damage remains. Melting wax over a gouge does not permanently fix the gouge. Two years later and the chips and scratches far too easily build up. Have to be super careful with the vacuum around it for example, or there is another chip in the finish. The quality is really abysmal, which is too bad because the design is gorgeous.  I must say I am disappointed, because Welco from a design perspective is the furniture store that best matches my tastes. Just the quality will prevent me from going back. Update: After three years, I donated the bed to charity as the quality was just not good enough to look decent for long, and it was coming apart in places. Where the holes in the headboard didn't properly align, when moving the bed one of the bolts stripped out and damaged the chipboard (not wood, as my solid wood bed turns out is mostly chipboard). So a $2000 bed lasted me three years. Better off buying from IKEA.

Amer and his sales team were great to do business with. No pressure and most informative about their products. Brought a foor model sofa set and was quiet amazed at the degree of wrapping and protection provided. The delivery was quick and timely. Looking forward to doing future business with Welco Furniture.

We were in the neighborhood at a different store and stumbled upon Welco. This was the first time we had visited the store, and we were about to leave having initially not seen anything that caught our eye. We were approached by Jessy who asked us what we were looking for, and she indicated that we could customize most of the items in the store. We were able to customize to our liking, ie. fabric colour and quality, adding nail heads, selecting finishing colour, pillows, etc. The pandemic did make our wait time for deliver a little longer than anticipated, but Jessy and Amir responded to our inquiries each and every time and their follow through ensuring we were happy with the product was fantastic. Great customer service!

Absolutely stunning customer service. Fabulous selection of furniture, finishes and upholstery. Best of all is the product quality, reasonable prices and above all the trustful professional advice. Will shop there again. ***Update after 2+yrs: All is in place, fabric colours and chair material are in perfect condition. No complaints to list.

Great store with unique, beautiful, good quality furniture. After visiting a few stores in the area where everything looked kind of the same I stepped into Welco Furniture and immediately saw the difference. I got a great recommendation from the sales person and purchased a fabulous modern and classy bed for my daughter. Delivery and installation was smooth and no issues. I will definitely come back.
