★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I own a large business (40,000 square feet) in Richmond, BC that had a flood caused by a broken water main in November of 2013. We had over 6 inches of water covering half the plant. Two and a half years later the Restoration company has been paid close to $90,000, the insurance company hired an accounting firm to produce a 17 page report, and we have not been offered any type of settlement. The broker, GNK Insurance, was supposed to be my champion. I don't feel like a champion.

Even their call answering dispatch center complained that their phones are either always down or they just do not pick up the phone. Tried all day Friday and Saturday during business hours - the voicemail box was even too full to leave a message. I recommend patronizing another insurance carrier.
