Just like all the places near here. All gems!

It is the quintessential newbie mountain/ridge, take the Ridgeline instead of dropping elevation before the peak for more challenge. And yes that sharp looking peak way in the distance IS where you are going (yes it's far away)

The pathway entrance to the ridge is a bit hard to see! We missed it and started along the run off.. later scaling up the mountain on our own path and met up with the main one up the mountain. We met2 other ppl who also missed the entrance. It's a beautiful hike with lots of views. We only did you the first "top" but was worth it!

Great hike. Make sure you have strong ankles and knees. The first 2 kms is a grind uphill. Once up on the ridge the uphill becomes more gradual and the payoff is very high. Be aware that the further you go the scrambling/boulders becomes much more taxing and dangerous. There are many great lookouts, don't be afraid to stop mid way at your favourite one... you do also need to get down off the mountain.

A panoramic view of the mountains (Mt. McDougall) & valleys (Wasootch Creek) past the tree line. The trail head starts with a steep ascent along with a few & short edge section. Once you get past the tree line, it's an easy hike from there; I would do it again! For those who would like to challenge themselves can attempt to reach the Wasootch Peak which requires scrambling experience.
