p	patricia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ recently had my riding mower serviced with Walpole ( and I am sure the mechanic's, Tech's are good at what they do, And the young gal that answered the phone, and spoke with me was pleasant each time I spoke with her, BUT JOAN needs a lesson on Customer Service Skills, she is rude ,and condescending when she is asked to explain a service or price, cuts you off, and rants about unnecessary irrelevant information to the conversation, and won't allow customer to speak . For that reason I will never take my equipment to them again. And I am not alone on this experience my friend also had the same reception and experience the JOAN. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE FRONT LINE TO A GOOD EXPERIENCE . I gave 2 stars only because the my riding mower seems fixed and running good,

Ended up calling walpole's upon recommendation from a buddy and got connected with Joan. Got my lawn mower fixed within a week and Joan was able to deliver it back to me the same day. thank you
E	Edd King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First gave 2 stars but changing to 1. The 2 front counter staff are abrupt, not professional and not helpful. Would be much better to speak to a tech/repair person. After I picked up the chainsaw from repair, noticed a couple of things were not done and after calling back the girl told me our techs know what they are doing and if it was a problem they would have fixed it. ... Terrible and inappropriate response showing a lack of customer service, knowledge, and staff cohesiveness.

Our mower needed fixed as the blades weren't engaging. It left our house in running condition but was informed that it would cost over $1000 to repair the engine. They would not be able to return it as it was sent to them (engine would be coming back in a box) When trying to work with them as to a solution where all parties would be satisfied, I was called and informed that they would not be able to return it in the condition it was sent there and they would return it without the $80 initial charge to diagnose (which I was willing to pay) but that our business with them would be terminated. Upon stating that I was going to request prices for a new machine ($3000 new machine) I was informed that they no longer wanted to do business with me. Terrible business practices in terms of customer satisfaction.

I called asked if there was a part available. I was told yes and when I arrived there it wasn’t even in stock. I ordered it for today and called to see if there was an estimated time and was told to stop calling back. While I was in the store front to front with them they were rude as ever.

S	Sylvia Mcgeary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped my lawnmower off to have blades sharpened, young girl was very nice, called following day to see if there was any news....got the mother of young girl on the phone very bad attitude told me if people stopped calling and bothering her things would get done sooner, then told me there were 17 items before mine, she started to get irate and said her daughter had told me that..which she hadn't, then proceeded to say you can come pick it up. Not a nice way to start your day being yelled at. If you want good customer service go elsewhere.
