About Northern Turf Equipment
Northern Turf Equipment provides Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario with sales and service of lawn and garden and other small engine equipment. Owner and manager Tom Suttie founded the company in 1984 following 16 years spent working for his father’s small engine repair shop.
Northern Turf Equipment is proud to be Thunder Bay’s first Briggs and Stratton Master Service Dealer. Technician Tom Suttie has completed extensive factory training sessions, and a comprehensive exam, to become a Briggs and Stratton Master Service Technician. In the year 2000, Northern Turf Equipment was appointed as Thunder Bay’s exclusive Kohler Expert Distributor and also chosen as Tecumseh Premium Dealer for the area.
In addition to serving the residential/homeowner market, Northern Turf Equipment also supplies equipment, parts and service to industrial and commercial outfits including landscapers, golf courses and municipalities across the region.
