Best Department store in Canada

A	Andrew Foster on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good well lit location with sections or departments for pretty much everything you'll need for day to day life. There are tons of clothing options for every gender and age, from babys right on up to adults, a DIY area, automotive section, sporting goods, entertainment, kitchen and home related sections and a whole side of the store dedicated to grocery items. They also have a McDonald's in the store near the checkout areas. Overall, good for your one stop shopping needs, and they do price match last i checked so pricing, which isnt usually too bad, wont be an issue. Staff are usually friendly and helpful but it depends on the day of course. Overall recommend a stop here.

J	Janet Collier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I needed to go to the washroom. There was a caution tent in the entrance and I assumed they had just mopped the floor. So I entered and out of a stall a young man comes out. He had been cleaning. He said something to me but I could not understand. While I was there probably six women came through the door and there was a standoff. This was just before noon. There was another young man outside the door. I told them caution just means caution where is the proper closed for cleaning sign. They didn't seem to understand me in the middle of the standoff. I went again on my way out and they had not properly changed the paper. Proper training would be appropriate.

The one star is for the insanely loud volume settings on the self checkout booths/machines. Every single time I scanned an item the "beep" was so loud I could feel it in my spine. 45 minutes later my ears are still ringing.

But recently I have realized that stock and shipments are very low if any. There's many things our Walmart should be carrying and from what I see they just don't. Lastly, the younger cashiers are always nice to talk to. Yesterday a older white lady was absolutely nasty to my boyfriend and I while checking out. My father has had an issue with the same woman before as well.

I went to electronics to get a cell phone signal booster and the young fella in his best non condescending way told me it was not a real thing. Well is he in for a surprise when best buy gives me one to purchase. Not impressed with those two young employees.

The store is bright & clean, the aisles were surprisingly clear & roomy, the young cashier (Iona?) was the friendliest ever. The Mrs really liked the cosmetics display upon arrival. We've not been to this store during Christmas, or before school, etc, which I imagine it must look like any other location. But yesterday, we felt like we had walked into a brand new, freshly stocked store. It was that impressive!
