★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, solid wood bridge. Lots of local information, nice hiking in area.
Accessible for strollers and wheelchair yet slightly steep. Lots of bicycles went through.
Portable toilets are nearby at the Fairbairn House Heritage Center.
Great place for kids to run since pedestrians are well protected by walls. They may want to climb though since the same walls are pretty high.
There is a geocache on the bridge but I didn't find it. The flora diversity is great from cultivated to wild.
You can access the water by stairs but make sure to wear sturdy shoes as it's slippery in the clay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice drive out in the country. Parking close by. Nice covered bridge, has been restored with incorrect tipe of timbers and the outside needs some upkeep. Overall scenic location in the middle of nowhere. If you own a cayak or canoe you will enjoy it more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a quiet area with the covered bridge as the highlight. Gatineau River is pretty and tranquil; with the sound of water flowing. Cyclists and walkers frequent the area; there is historical signage to read.
