Pardon this picture... The Brackley family had just unloaded a huge moving truck and we were exhausted but wanted to capture the moment we first arrived. We are a camping family at the core- even taking our newborn baby tenting! Half of our family is Autistic and we found our biggest joy was getting out of the city and going camping. Our favorite place to do that was in Sundre. For many years we saw this campground for sale and wished we could live out our dream of camping 24/7, in God's country. Wagons West had been built in the early 90's by four friends and had been through about seven owners and many transformations over the years. After seven years of working multiple jobs, saving every penny and taking many overtime hours as possible, we had finally arrived! We had no clue what we were doing. All we knew is that we wanted to create the perfect campground for our family.

M	Melody Jean on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was our first time staying at this campground and definitely not the list! I phoned and the lady was so helpful, informative and overall wonderful. This place has everything you need from full service, a playground, dog park, a store with everything even things I have forgotten in the past that I had to travel far to get. They treat you like family and the campground is very clean and secure. Even train rides for the kid. I highly recommend this place

M	Melinda Gross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ONLY reason this isn’t 5 stars is as other people have also stated, sites are very close together. Well laid out so that you have a distinct separation, but you can still hear each other clearly. We went with three family members so arranged our spots together for a great little area, and met the friendly neighbors. LOTS of sites appear semi-permanent, so I’d imagine most are friendly too. The owners are wonderful and take great care of the place. Very clean, almost no bugs, attentive to any arising issues, and well stocked little shop for anything you’ve forgotten or want to keep busy. They had care for kids both human (playground, tiny mini golf, train rides) and furry (dog park with toys, water, poop bags and scooper), though quiet hours not being until 11pm seemed to counter the kid-friendly atmosphere. The rules & rates are easily available online, carded gate access felt secure, and full hookups were convenient.

The staff are friendly and helpful and can help you with pretty much anything you need. The fenced in dog park was a big seller for us .

The dog park is amazing. They do so many great things for the kids. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.
