We stayed at site 120 with 6 people (3 tents and 2 cars). A nice campsite with plenty of room, just little bit of road noise at night. Outhouses weren't the cleanest. Showers were free, clean and 2 min drive. The beach was a short drive away and there were plenty of parking spots available. The park store sells firewood for $12/bags, ice $4/bag, and other things like condiments, ice cream etc. Would definitely come back!

First time here in years. Sites are small (best for units without pullouts), but very treed so quite private and enjoyable. Lake access is not in the camping area, but an easy drive. Both were incredibly busy, but people were respectful and we had a great time. I loved the trees. Others said the trails were good. We'd go back.

I have been camping here for years. The washroom and shower facilities are fantastic. The price of firewood is average and the campsites are always in great shape. If you have kids the beach and playground area is great. The park also has a great boat launch. All around for being so close to the city it is a great place to spend a weekend.

We have camped here often because of its location close to home. Most sites are of medium size and fairly private. Campsites are some distance from the beach area so you will need to drive there. Good to have 2nd vehicle if in a motorhome like us. Highway noise is limited and not a problem if you have a camper. Of course pit toilets have their usual issues or you can drive over to the shower house that has flush toilets and warm water. I never make reservations as I come during the first of the week and get one of their first come, first serve electrical or unserviced sites. I will usually go online to see what is available first.

Fantastic place. Roomy sites with lots of amenities. Water, power, beach, shop, boat launch, kids area, free showers. Staff are great with a can do attitude. This place attracts people from all ethnicities and when they all start barbecuing in the day use area its a great smell.

Nice park, but the concrete barriers in tge sites are extremely dangerous at night if not lit up. Also lots of dead treat that are dangerous. Some of the sites need to be closed until they get rid of the dead trees. Someone will be killed unfortunately.

Sites were pretty in the fall, the 250+ sites were very narrow, could not sit at our picnic table and had to be careful of the steep ledges when getting out of the trailer. Highway noise seemed very loud, but loved the busy train tracks. The main beach are gorgeous
