★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well Wabamun lake is a great lake for boating fishing and swimming. Our family has enjoyed many hours out there in the summer and hopefully many more in years to come

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy area with a good double boat launch. Just watch out for the people blocking the road or cutting front of you while you load up. Also keep an eye out for kids swimming off the docks and in the launch area. In short it nice but is chaos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place if you just want to get out for a day trip. Swimming is not the best however it is improving constantly. The campground is definitely kid friendly and Moonlight Day offers a nice calm area for fishing and swimming. Wabamun is much bigger once you get under the bridge and onto the main Lake. There are boat rentals in the town of wabamun however they are extremely expensive. The fishing has never been great but on average you will catch a few small ones and the odd egg one if you're willing to put in the time.
