★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was pretty rude, despite me giving a nice tip. i told the cashier girl i wanted some extras for my sandwich, and even if she wrote them down, the other girl making the sandwich completely ignored the instructions and i had to tell her my extras again. The food tasted completely different compared to other VUA's that i've been too. Not only that, but the grilled pork made me sick, and tasted off.
Do not recommended the sandwiches. I Can't speak for the poke bowls though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a chicken bahn mi. The bread was old even though they had lots of fresh bread stored on the side. She decided to warm up sandwich in oven. It took almost 20 min. I had to tell them enough! I had a doctor's appointment. She said the oven was not preheated. Anyways, she took out my sandwich and it was burnt. These guys don't know what they are doing. Horrible. I left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice employees and excellent service :) they gave cute lollipop for free to everyone, very impressive! We go there every Friday to enjoy the Vietnamese sandwich and their delicious poke bowl! The best fast food restaurant in cdn!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing! I’ve been eating at Vua (on st denis) for several years and loved it. When this new Vua opened near my work I wanted to try it but the food is not fresh and not good quality. I ordered the vegetarian bahn mi which is tofu and carrots, the sandwich is big but they only gave 2 small pieces of tofu which was very disappointing despite giving them a good tip. I also asked not to put onions and the lady wrote it on the order but the chef didn’t seem to read and gave me load of onions and green anyways. Also the staff can be rude sometimes but the food is not fresh. The tofu has no flavour and we can see it’s left overs from a few days. Definitely will not be coming back. I’m very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, having been to another VUA location, I’m a bit disappointed with this one. The banh mi tasted okay, but the thin sliver of dry beef inside made for a pretty sad sandwich. Maybe I was expecting something more…traditional, but this also looked like plain old boring grocery store roast beef coldcuts.
Maybe try a different sandwich if you’re going to eat here.
