★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't say enough great things about this store! The staff are awesome, and you won't find a better selection of backpacking gear. You can get everything from base layers, to packs, to jackets and scarves, shoes and boots, to books, camping kitchen items, and more. If you need it, they have it!
If you are heading out for anything from a day hike to a multi-day expedition, GO HERE!
They also have an awesome membership program where you can earn money toward more gear.
10/10, LOVE this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent place, knowledgable staff and prices are actually reasonable. I was surprised. I wanted to take my kids rock climbing and was able to pick up two harnesses at a reasonable rate and was on my way to introduce the kids to some top roping. Thanks!

I was introduced from someone, and I liked so much with their gears which I didn’t find from other stores.
Definitely worth to visit, specially for hardcore outdoors!
I was too busy checking gears, did not take too many pictures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love visiting this store! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Pretty well stocked and definitely clean and tidy. Lots of good practical items in the store too such as snowshoe strap clips and snow buckets for your hiking poles. I recently purchased some climbing cordlette which was promptly handled by one staff member. My favorite thing about shopping with VPO is the money we get back in Adventure Bucks! Who doesn't like being rewarded just for being a customer?! Thanks for such a great experience every time!
