Best Christmas tree farm in Canada

The guys there were nice to provide some information regarding the tree species and what to look for to identify them. The kids loved the hot chocolate and mashmellows. They also provide a bag for clean up after which was nice.
c	casalosangeles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always go to Vivian Plantation (this year will be our 23rd). They have a bonfire, to roast marshmallows. They have hack saws, serve free hot chocolate, or apple cider. We ride the tractor, around the plantation, get off, find a tree, cut it down and bring it back (either on the tractor, or dragging it back, by hand). They have a machine to shake snow, ice, loose needles etc. off the tree and a baling machine, to wrap it, in twine. They give you a bag, for recycling your tree, after Christmas. Check the posting, at the hut, before you go look for your tree. They list the different species of trees and prices, by height. Don't try to break off the top of the tree, to shorten its height. If this is done, the price is increased up, to the next foot. It's a great, family-run tree farm. I think it's now being operated by the 3rd generation! They also sell greenery, wreaths, trees already cut and apple cider, in jugs. They'll even give you their family recipe, on how to serve it, at home. They have free parking. The best days to go are Saturday/Sunday. You can be sure that's when everything (the bonfire, hut, tractor, etc. Will be up and running). The most fun days! People also bring their dogs (which must be leashed).

We called in advance to check on the selection (due to the pandemic rush) and to make sure they were open. Lynn was happy to answer our call and assist with the questions...providing all of the information needed before we made our way there. Upon arriving we were greeted by friendly staff who pulled out a couple of trees for us to take a look at...while educating us on the different types and some tips for making the tree last. It was our first time visiting Vivian Plantation and it will not be our last!

Wreaths, Garland and bunches of boughs available. Cider available by the jug as well. They have a tree bailer and shaker. Lots of employees to give you a hand with selection. Twine to tie the tree to your car. All around excellent experience.

They are friendly, welcoming, and have a fantastic selection of trees, including different varieties and sizes! We get our church tree and home tree both, and are always greeted with smiles and catching up. Well worth the visit!
M	Meg Lowrie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot tell you how friendly and magical this christmas tree farm is! I'm so excited to support them again. I buy a wreath and a fresh garland from them every year. They have an inviting bonfire to warm up with a free hot chooclate or apple cider which just really adds to memory and a free wagon ride. I find the property breathtaking -bring your camera! You'll want to take some photos here as well. All the staff are welcoming and kind. A great place for tradition.

Turns out they had the best looking tree at the very affordable price with free warm cider or hot coco. Bonfires are available to warm up. They have staff that handle the trees so they are well taken cared of when you buy your chosen piece.

All the staff are so friendly and helpful including the owner and his family. Hot chocolate, bonfire and many picture perfect scenes makes this a place you don’t want to miss. It’s helpful too that trees are pre-cut as we spent hours last year searching for the best one! This way you get your tree easily and a chance to enjoy the winter wonderland.
