M	M. N. Q. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smaller than other nofrills I have been to. Specifically, it doesn't have most of the south Asian items you could find in other no frills, maybe the demography is the reason.
M	Metal Tiger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of four No Frills stores which I shop at. Of the four, this is the smallest in overall space inside. If you are local to Markham Village, you may remember an earlier grocery market at this location. Yes, it was the Valdi store (Value Discount). As you may or may not recall the employees had gone on strike. Subsequently, Valdi refused to budge and closed down the entire chain of stores. Perhaps they started operations in another country instead. The NoFrills at this location is convenient in many ways. There is a Home Hardware store next door, as well as a Shoppers Dug Mart. Drawback to the small footprint of the store is that the product selection is limited. Where other supermarkets have disbanded designated lineups for checkout, this store retains it at present. Use your PC MasterCard, preferable with an Insiders subscription, to optimize your Optimum Points. Accumulate points at all Loblaw related venues as well as Shoppers Drug Mart. The best rewards system available in Canada.
A	Ayinde the Great on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place can sometimes become packed and there are long lines at the checkout sometimes. The variety and freshness of foods here are very good however.

Time to time there are line ups but waiting time is usually couple of minutes. One thing I can't understand is sometimes self checkout machines are not working and you have to wait in line behind people with too many pieces. As I said, the waiting time is not that long but it is just annoying to wait when you could just use the machine and leave the store.

L	Lance on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this place, not fancy, because it's No Frills, but prices are without a doubt lower than those at Loblaws or Longo,'s. Not too much selection but how many different loaves of bread do you need. Compact and efficient with good old fashioned customer service.
