I have been enjoying eating at this restaurant for a few years now. The staff are great, food is delicious without being heavy on the sauce. Many dishes are gluten free that tastes good. If it is your first visit - Beef vermicelli bowl with a starter of shrimp salad rolls are my go to.

The chicken in the stir-fry was not cooked in the stir fry as it was very dry. The steamed rice did not taste steamed as it was also dry. The salad rolls were terrible. With the outside covering, I had a tough time chewing. Also not a lot of veggies inside, mostly lettuce! I threw my rice in the garbage. It was dry, and didn't come with a sauce except soy...not coming back!

There are four Vietnamese restaurants in Red Deer, and I have tasted them all! By far, Vietnamese Garden is the BEST!

Food is ok. Wish there were tofu options. Make sure to double check for utensils before leaving if you order to go- I don't know what it is with restaurants in Red Deer, but I always specifically ask for utensils and never get any. Guess I'm using some pens I cleaned to try to eat my food at work. I only get takeout when I am really busy and don't have time to make myself food, ergo ordering takeout and hoping for utensils so I can actually eat my food. Staff aren't the most friendly. Likely won't take out from here again.

Pho broth was quite weak, and it was $11 for 4 tiny spring rolls, very over priced considering most places would charge $6 for the same. Wouldn't order from here again, much better places in town.

Ordered skip the dishes and tried out Vietnamese Garden for the first time. I was not disappointed everything came hot and fresh and super delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a reasonably priced place to eat. I have lots of leftovers for a full another meal or two

We tried the beef satay sub, spring rolls and wonton soup. Won ton soup was quite large and pretty good, spring rolls were very good. However the Vietnamese beef satay sub was not good, they used quite large strips of beef that were dry and very chewy. Couldn’t even bite through most of the pieces. A tad disappointed because I’ve tried the satay subs from 2 or 3 other places in Red Deer and love them all. Not this one though. Sub was more expensive than other places too, so I was expecting better.

This is my first visit to this place. The restaurant is very clean and decoration is the modern style which I really like. The manual is nicely printed with English only and no picture which some other Vietnamize restaurants have. The prices are relatively reasonable comparing with other bigger cities such as Edmonton. We ordered special noodle, rare noodle, spring rolls and beef with rice. All tasted pretty good. Waiting time was a little long but it took them some time to grill the beef. Overall it was a good experience, I would recommend this place to my friends.
